Lovely place in a very nice area. Very well appointed. I just spent a few days relaxing and working remotely. The lake nearby is warm, a rocky, but good to swim in or float around.

Corinne was really friendly and helpful. She suggested a lovely day itinerary which we enjoyed a lot. We felt we could ask her about anything. The apartment was perfect for us and they deck was great for relaxing. We also loved the sort by the lake, but sadly didn't have the time to use the kayaks.

The space inside was quaint and cozy with everything you could need. Corinne was extremely accommodating with my request of pre purchasing a bottle of wine for my girlfriend’s birthday! Not to mention the balloons she put up! Incredible. The outdoor space was extremely quiet and peaceful, so much so we decided to stay an additional night. We highly recommend this accommodation.
I had a lovely stay at the eagles nest. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The suite is well appointed and had everything you would need. Short walk to the lake which is beautiful. Would definitely stay again.
Our stay was wonderful! Part of what made it so wonderful was the owner Corine. She was both friendly and helpful with suggestions on places to visit and restaurants to eat at. I would love to come back and visit the area. If I ever do return we would absolutely stay here again.
Thanks for a great stay
This well located and private stay is peaceful and quiet with loads of nature all around. The property is well maintained and the host was friendly and helpful.
What a super cute little getaway! The views are beautiful and the lake is pristine. The property is very clean and the deck and views are very relaxing to sit out on and enjoy. Everything you need for a getaway is provided and we enjoyed our 3 nights here immensely.
A great location and secluded area. Host could not be more friendly and helpful! Had everything we needed and access to more. Loved it! Wish we were staying longer.
My fiancé and I enjoyed our stay at the Eagles Nest for our anniversary, the space was exactly what we wanted for a getaway! We loved that all we had to do was bring our clothes and food, that makes travelling so much easier! Corinne was very kind and welcoming, her pup Mr. Oso is a gentle giant!
Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Great! Happy you had everything you needed. I do try to keep the studio stocked with all the little things, as you said, to make traveling easier.
Amazing little spot on the lake! We had everything we needed and it was nice to relax by the lake after a day of sightseeing. If you stay, take the time for a swim and paddle a kayak out on the lake. And have a visit with Corinne and Oso because they are amazing!

What makes this property unique
I fell in love with this property and thought it would be a great retirement home. So this is not just a vacation rental, it is my home . I take great care of it and I have developed many maintenance skills! Plumbing, landscaping, cement work, working in the forest. It's an ongoing project. A labour of love.
Minamkeak Lake, no matter what season or time of day offers spectacular views and sounds from loons, Canada geese announcing spring is here, Mr. Beaver on the other side of the island, and many other critters, Watch for the bunnies in the spring..
