Great cottage with just a short walk to the beach. Has everything you need and was very clean and comfortable. Couldn’t ask for more and would definitely stay again.
This was definitely the best place we stayed in Scotland. To have 3 bedrooms including two twin beds was wonderful! The kitchen and bathroom are modern and the entire home is clean and tidy. The host patiently dealt with some time consuming problems VRBO caused and we were very grateful. We did not find a clothes dryer even though it’s on the listing. But 10/10 would highly recommend.
The house was very accommodating. We had everything we needed for our stay, albeit only one night. Check in was easy, the condo was clean, and you are fairly close to the beach with easy access to that and a park for kids. Your own place to park was also a big plus.
I stayed in Joyce's cottage with a couple of my friends for a relaxing weekend. The cottage is so welcoming and cosy with a great kitchen for cooking in. We loved the garden, which was perfect for catching some sun, having chats and an evening drink or two., surrounded by some lovely flowers and blossoming trees. The cottage was only 2 minutes away from the beach and a really fantastic park and splash pad which would keep kids amused, if they had been with us. Close to shops, restaurants and walkable from the train station. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you 💕
We had the most amazing stay from start to finish.
The owner Joyce is lovely & very communicative.
The Cottage is very well equipped, with an extremely homely welcoming atmosphere, WiFi great , the photos on website do not do it justice.
I would have no reservation on recommending it and shall most definitely return.
If you're visiting Nairn this is the place to be , you will not be disappointed.
The property was perfectly charming, very well equipped and very near to the water , and a short walk to great restaurants and bars. One big plus is the dedicated parking space just across from the property. Communication with the property owner was easy and comfortable, and she made some very useful recommendations for us about places to visit. The check-in process was flawless. If my travels ever take me back Nairn, I guarantee that I will be heading back to this property.
Wow is all we can say! The Ceol na Mara cottage was what our Scottish dreams are made of. We stayed only one night in this cozy cottage in Nairn and the minute we walked in we regretted that we had not stayed longer! There was plenty of room for our family with very comfortable beds where we slept solidly for the first time in a while. The kitchen was very well equipped and would have been even more perfect if we had stayed to make better use of it. The town of Nairn is picture perfect, and the cottage's location to the beach was second to none. We went down to the beach in the morning before we packed up, and then headed back to the beach after checking out! Nairn is a perfect location to use as a home base for the greater area. Thank you so much, Joyce for making your cottage such a special place to call a home away from home. You were fantastic! We WILL be back!
We love staying at the fisherman’s cottage in Narin. The cottage was so quiet and so comfortable. We love being able to walk half a block to the beach for a gorgeous walk. We were amazed at how close we were to city center anD Parks. We enjoyed Nairn tremendously and wanted to stay longer. Unfortunately the rest of the week was booked up so we only stayed a few days. Check-in was a breeze and the cottage was perfect. There is a sweet yard and even a parking space. The bathroom and kitchen are both newly updated and the cottage is perfectly preserved to have the old world charm.
