The second-largest neighborhood of our beloved Barcelona is Sarrià-Sant Gervasi - a silent paradise in the northwest of the city, adjacent to Gràcia. Sarrià-Sant Gervasi was the last independent town to be annexed by Barcelona in 1921. That may explain why Sarrià-Sant Gervasi still has that "village atmosphere", with charm and personality that cannot be found anywhere else in the city.
