Cozy pet friendly private pool cottage in Tuscany

This interesting and beautiful stone-built small house is peacefully located in the green country side close to the small town of Pomarance.
The property is the result of a recent renovation which has transformed this ancient barn into a beautiful and most comfortable independent cottage with private swimming pool available from May to September.

The house is surrounded by a large garden framed with mature oak trees, offering a furnished patio and a terrace to relax and eat outside, as well as a 4x8x1,20 meters large swimming pool for the exclusive use of the guests available from May to September.

Internally the house offers comfortable and cosy rooms, is well furnished in rustic style and provided with modern facilities.
The owners of this property leave in a nearby house (approx. 100 m.) with completely private access and outdoor area, and are always available for any need that guests may have during their stay.

Pomarance is situated at approx. 5 km away and offers all kinds of services including various shops, restaurants, tennis, etc. Although being ideally situated for a completely relaxing holiday, the house Il Viale, thanks to its position, is a good starting point both for enjoying the nearby beaches of the Tuscan coast (40 km) as well as the most renowned art centres of the region: Volterra 40 km, San Gimignano 50 km, Siena 75, Florence 80 km, Pisa 90 km.

Ground floor: access from the covered patio into the living/dining room with fireplace, double sofa bed and kitchen area; 1 double bedroom with access door onto a shaded, furnished terrace, 1 bathroom with shower; 1 bathroom with shower for garden and swimming use (with only external access).

Es hätte so schön sein können....

.....wenn denn alles so wäre wie beschrieben.... Die Koordinaten für die Anreise führten quasi ins nichts, irgendwo zwischen einem Hotel und einem Campingplatz war Ende! Das Ziel selbst nur über Satellitenaufnahmen identifizierbar und erreichbar Die Gastgeberin sprach nur italienisch, war aber sehr freundlich Es gab nix schriftliches über das Haus, die Umgebung oder die Funktion des Fernsehers. Der Pool selbst hatte wohl in der Beschreibung Traummaße, war aber weder 1,40 tief keine 4m breit oder 8m lang. Das Inventar....ein Haus in der Toskana und keine 2 Weißweingläser??? Merkwürdig. Für 4 Personen geht das Haus auf gar keinen Fall! Dem Hund wären wir dankbar gewesen wenn er mal ein paar Stunden nicht gebellt hätte. Privatsphäre gab es, weil das Haus am Ende einer ca 1500m langen Schotterstraße lag, die Hecken doch recht lückenhaft zumal alle die zur Vermieterin wollten, am Ferienhaus vorbei fuhren. Nicht alle sind da so schmerzfrei wie wir. Da muss ordentlich nachgebessert werden wenn das Angebot dem bezahlten Preis gerecht werden will. Letzten Endes wäre ein Hinweis auf die recht heftige Insektenplage und entsprechende Tipps für den Schutz dagegen auch schön gewesen. Haus toll, Umgebung einmalig, ich liebe die Schotterpiste zum Haus!! Von 5 Häusern die wir bisher in der Toskana hatten leider nur Platz 6

fijne rustige plek

mooi huisje voor 2 personen, niet echt gezellig maar wel compleet. de eigenaars zijn aardig. toen wij er waren was het koud en het huis is dan niet goed te verwarmen. de 2 terrassen moeten in het zomerseizoen heerlijk zijn

Toskana - Pomarance

Wir hatten 10 Tage sehr schönes Wetter und dank dem Pool auch ausreichend Erfrischung. Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist allerdings eine Zumutung. Bloss nicht mit einem tiefergelegten Fahrzeug hinfahren. Das Haus war sehr schwer zu finden. Die Wegbeschreibung war da nicht sehr hilfreich. Die Vermieterin kann weder Englisch noch Deutsch. Verständigung war daher unmöglich. Für 40 km per Strasse braucht man nahezu 2 Stunden. Egal in welche Richtung. Nur Serpentinen und sehr schmale Sträschen. An Fahrrad fahren war nicht zu denken. Das reinste Mücken-Paradies. Ohne täglich mehrmaliges Einreiben mit Autan fast unerträglich. Wir machen gern in der Toskana Urlaub, aber bestimmt nicht mehr in dieser Gegend.

We honestly wouldn't have expected you rated the accommodation with only 2 *, since on the last communication before departure you reported that you enjoyed the stay, liked the pool and the house was ok and found Pomarance also nice to visit. The only point was the access road. Here our surprise… We are sorry that the directions re -provided in detail the night before didn't help to easily get to the house, we are also sorry that the Italian owner didn't speak either English or German, but we do and we're here to support our guests in case the owner cannot. You've experienced this first hand. Road wise, it's the Tuscan countryside, hilly, narrow, and steep streets are quite ordinary, but we'll specify on the description. We would have loved to be informed about this much quantity of mosquitos while you were here, so we could have investigated. Finally, we are sorry that the accommodation wasn't what you were looking for.

Tolles Ferienhaus

Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus, toll gelegen, in der Toskana. Die angegebenen Bilder entsprechen dem Objekt. Wir verbrachten einen klasse Urlaub dort, sämtliche Großstädte und das Meer sind in einer guten Stunde mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan und verkaufen Wein, Olivenöl und leckeren Honig aus eigener Herstellung.

Schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage

Gemütliches abgelegenes kleines Ferienhaus mit einem eingezäunten Grundstück und einem schönen Pool. Die Einrichtung ist sehr rustikal aber ausreichend. Die zubuchbare Klimaanlage ist ein mobiles Gerät. Man erreicht das schöne Domizil über einen holprigen Feldweg. Die Eigentümerin Loredana wohnt in der Nähe und ist sehr nette und hilfsbereit! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in Pomerance. Wir hatten hier einen schönen und erholsamen Urlaub!

Petite maison parfaite pour les vacances

Maison indépendante avec piscine privée, confortable et fonctionnelle, parfaite pour une petite famille, grand jardin cloturé, environnement exceptionnel sur une colline, très jolie vue sur la magnifique campagne toscane, très calme, idéal pour se reposer, deux terrasses ombragées très agréables, à une demi-heure de Volterra, à 1 heure de la magnifique Massima Maritima, île d'Elbe et bord de mer facilement accessibles, propriétaires charmants et discrets, avons passé deux semaines très agréables et reposantes, beaucoup mieux qu'un agitourismo car tout seuls et indépendants au calme ! Proche de La Dispensa, très bon restaurant toscan au milieu d'une colline charmante. 5 étoiles amplement méritées !
