Wonderful stay in Toscany

We really loved the stay in the apartment. The communication with Katia was great and very uncomplicated, her husband came to check electricity in the night (heavy rain cut the electricity for WiFi). The surrounding of the house is very nice and calm. Perfect for a stay to visit the nearby cities Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra (our preferred city). Staying here is a strong recommendation. And also check the brewery Katia and her husband have opened 2 years ago. Amazing beer in the middle of the wine area - a great experience! We will come back, that is sure!

Had a great time staying here! (4 adults, 1 three year old) The pools was a life saver as the days were very hot. Very central location for exploring the area. Volterra is a gem! Like a smaller version of Florence and Sienna but without the crowds. The villa is far enough away from big city lights for some amazing stargazing laying by the pool at night. Katia was a wonderful host and the pizza party was a highlight of our stay in Tuscany - Unfortunately, developed a craving for their home made Limoncello.

Beautiful, peaceful, excellent location

Lovely compact accommodation in a beautiful garden, surrounded by olive trees and fields. Wonderful views from the patio of the accommodation and from the pool. Very relaxing. Great location for exploring the Tuscany countryside with a car - Volterra, San Gimignnano, are two wonderful mediaeval walled towns to visit near by. Need to pre-think getting to Florence in the car as we could not find anywhere to park or understand the parking meters, etc so had to abort the trip without going into the town. We travelled from Pisa airport to Lucca and spent a night there which was lovely before moving on to the Farmhouse. This would make a lovely place to rent for a large group. Katia and her husband were great hosts when they welcomed us to their home for a wonderful home made pizza evening. We will definitely return and we would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a peaceful holiday with the ability to be able to explore the Tuscany countryside.

Quiet location, good base for seeing Tuscany

We had a lovely holiday here. Location is very peaceful yet easy drive to Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, Volterra etc - the latter is a must-see and our favourite place! The local village is less than 5mins drive away and has a couple of small shops for groceries, or there is a larger supermarket in Volterra (about 20min drive.) Would recommend a GPS as some of the roads are a bit trickey to identify on a map. The accommodation was as described - well equipped, clean, fresh and just what we wanted. There was an oven as well as a hob which is not always the case in self accommodation and was very useful. The pool was always clean and has lots of shade, provided by both umbrellas and trees. Katia and her family made us very welcome and were always able to offer help and advice. We had a lovely supper one evening when they cooked for all the guests, which was a good opportunity to meet everyone. There are just three apartments here which means that the pool and grounds are never too busy! Would recommend staying here if you want a quiet place to stay within easy travel of some lovely places to visit

Die Ferienwohnung war so wie sie beschrieben worden ist. Es war alles sauber, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Pool wird jeden Tag gereinigt und ist somit sehr sauber. Ansonsten war alles da was wir brauchten. Für Ausflüge ist es auch ideal, da man zu vielen Orten so ca. 1 Stunde braucht.( Florenz, Pisa oder Siena) Tipps zum parken in Florenz holt man sich am besten von Katia.Die Brauerei von Katia und ihrem Mann sollte man unbedingt besuchen.(Mega Aussicht und leckeres Bier)

sehr schön

Unsere 2 Wochen Ferien, die wir hier verbracht haben, sind wie im Flug vergangen und waren sehr schön und erholsamer als erhofft. Wir haben die Ruhe, die Aussicht und den Pool genossen. Katia ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit . Anna, die immer mal wieder nach uns geschaut hat , war sehr liebenswert. Auch unser Hund Baschi hat sich hier sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Ich konnte sogar einen Kuchen backen. :-) Wir kommen gerne wieder. Für eine Familie die sich nicht immer besonders rücksichtsvoll verhalten hat, kann der Vermieter nichts.

Agréable appartement pour une semaine de visites en Toscane

Propriété calme, piscine très agréable et bienvenue compte tenu de la chaleur. Appartement spacieux. Il manque un climatiseur, vraiment utile. Déçu que la soirée pizza promise dans l'annonce n'ait pas eu lieu.

Erholsamer Sommerurlaub

Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr schön und ruhig. Die Familie ist überaus freundlich und herzlich. Ein Besuch in der Familienbrauerei lohnt sich allemal.Im Haus war alles erwartungsgemäß und der Pool ist top. Es war für uns eine tolle Woche. Wir können es mit bestem Gewissen weiter empfehlen.

Erholung pur in der Toskana

Morgens im gepflegten Pool schwimmen und danach Früstücken auf einer Terasse mit wunderbarem Ausblick. Das Agriturismo liegt mitten in einer wundervollen Landschaft, nahe Volterra und San Gimignano. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und freundlich. Wir wurden mit frischen Eiern und Gemüse aus dem Garten verwöhnt. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung, die mit allem nötigen ausgestattet ist, sehr wohl gefühlt. Katia und ihr Mann haben in der Nähe eine Brauerei und Biergarten mit Blick auf Volterra eröffnet. Hier sollte man auf jeden Fall gewesen sein. Wer viel Landschaft und Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in idyllischer Lage

Eine tolle und großzügige Ferienanlage mit einem Apartment, in dem es alles gibt, was man für den täglichen Bedarf braucht. Der Pool ist ebenfalls top, allenfalls kann es mal etwas eng werden, wenn alle Gäste zur selben Zeit dort sind, das ist aber natürlich ganz normal. Die Lage des Agriturismo ist ebenfalls top, Volterra und S. Gimignano sind in 20 bzw. 30 Minuten, Lucca und das Meer in ca. einer Stunde zu erreichen (über kurvige und holprige Landstraßen, aber so ist das eben auf dem Land). Die Gastgeberin, Katia, ist sehr sehr nett und zuverlässig und ebenso wie ihre ganze Familie unglaublich gastfreundlich. Es ist keine Selbstverständlichkeit, dass die Mieter der drei Apartments zu einem gemeinsamen (herausragenden) Essen eingeladen werden! Auch die Kommunikation bzgl. An- und Abreise war immer unkompliziert und stressfrei.
