This old mill has been converted into a gîte. Ideal for families and nature activities (fishing, hiking, cycling ...) and convivial weekends. The swimming pool (6m x 12m) is heated in the sun and shared with holidaymakers from the Maison de Maître.

c'était notre deuxième séjour au moulin, et même s'il faisait trop froid pour profiter de la creuse, nous avons apprécié tout autant notre séjour, dans ce lieu magique.

Parfait !
C'est en effet notre lieu de vacances depuis 5 ans car tout nous convient. Nous y sommes très bien accueilli par pascaline.
La situation géographique, nous permet de ne pas réaliser de grands trajets, la piscine est parfaite pour les enfants, le bord de l'eau pour la pêche. Des balades en canoés et un atelier de poterie se trouve à proximité. C'est un endroit paisible idéal pour se ressourcer. A l'année prochaine !

Un moulin plein de charme
Nous avons loué le moulin et la maison de maître afin de célébrer un anniversaire. Les logements sont spacieux et comptent beaucoup de couchages, ce qui nous a permis d'héberger une vingtaine de convives. Les cuisines sont bien équipées, tout comme les chambres. Le cadre est très agréable et l'isolement du moulin nous a permis de faire la fête sans problème. Nous avons été ravis de la piscine, même si cela aurait été parfait si elle avait été chauffée. Au final nous avons passé un très bon week-end et espérons revenir pour une autre occasion.

Superbe séjour
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Moulin de Lurais pour un weekend entre amis et avec nos 7 enfants.
La maison de maître est spacieuse et dispose du charme de ces grandes maisons de familles que l'on rêve d'avoir. Le domaine est superbe, avec l'accès direct à la Creuse et un beau jardin.
Le temps ne nous a pas permis de profiter de la piscine malheureusement, mais nous avons pu profiter de plusieurs repas à l'extérieur!
Merci à M. et Mme Huber, ainsi que Pascaline pour son accueil chaleureux
La maison correspond parfaitement à la description et dispose de tous les équipements nécessaire pour un séjour en famille (nous étions 6 adultes et 7 enfants, dont 2 bébés). A noter un très bon réseau wifi pour ceux qui n'arriverait pas à déconnecter totalement.
La demeure est à mi-chemin entre Paris et Bordeaux, idéal pour des retrouvailles.
Je recommande vivement cette location.

Superb weekend
Belle parenthèse dans une propriété de charme, tout était magnifique : la maison, le moulin, la rivière.. . C'est une propriété idéale pour un weekend entre amis. Charles le propriétaire est très arrangeant et Pascaline qui est présente dans le village pour nous accueillir est d'une rare gentillesse.

Amaury n'était pas le premier à organiser un WE pour ses amis.
Il l'a magistralement fait malgré les différentes grèves de l'époque notamment le black-out sur l'essence
Lui et ses amis sont venus quelques jours avant les crues, la Seine mais aussi la Creuse qui est monté de 3,5m et a su s'arrêter 30cm avant de rentrer dans les maisons.
Merci à Amaury d'avoir cru que ses amis et lui passeraient un WE qu'on n'oublie pas au Moulin de LURAIS et qui comme ils le disent eux mêmes, dans : "une propriété idéale pour un weekend entre amis"
