The Garden Apartment is located on the very private ocean front estate of the “Inchcape Seaside Villas, right on Silver Sands Beach, on the southern most tip of Barbados. The houses at the Inchcape property are facing into the gentle breezes of the trades, which provide for the most perfect climate Barbados has to offer, never too warm or too cold. Garden has a large living room with a double pull out couch, on which max. 2 extra persons can be accommodated. A flat screen tv (70 + tv channels are available to our guests) and a stereo system with iPod / iPhone dock are there for Garden’s guests to enjoy most modern amenities. The Garden Apartment’s kitchen is fully equipped with a four burner stove, oven, good size fridge and everything else a well equipped kitchen should be equipped with. The bedroom in the Garden Apartment is equipped with a queen size bed, has a ceiling fan and a build in cupboard with dressing table. Garden also has a double pull out couch in the living room which can accommodate up to 2 additional persons.(Please note: additional charges would apply for a more than 2 persons occupancy in this unit / $ US 30 p. person p. night) The apartment has a safe to safely store the guests valuables. The cleaning service which comes automatically with this studio is a brief hotel type cleaning service and changing of towels (and sheets on request) every three days. Additional services can be arranged, but always and only on request and depending on availability of a qualified member of our work force. Garden has two outdoor terrace areas surrounded by tropical plants, with chairs, tables, lounge chairs and hammock, all facing one of the island's most beautiful and unspoiled white sand beaches, which is surrounded by brilliant clear, turquoise blue water. The beach at the Garden Apartment is heaven for swimming and snorkeling, windsurfing and kitesurfing, surfing and boogie boarding alike. One side of Silver Sands Beach can have a little shore beak while the other side is much calmer and ideal for swimming and sea bathing. The small fishing village of Oistins is just a few minutes away and there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets from in walking distance to just minutes away by car. Come visit and see for yourself. The bedroom in the Garden Apartment is equipped with two twin beds pushed together, has a ceiling fan, we can provide stand up fan if required, and a build in cupboard with dressing table. Garden also has a double pull out couch in the living room which can accommodate 2 additional persons.

Laundry service is offered by our maids on property at a small cost.

We loved the property and the location of the property. I wish we had booked the unit with a view, but a view was just steps away from the unit. Good thing the bedroom had air conditioning! Having the Surf Beach bar within walking distance was awesome. Good food and we went a couple of times and wish we had visited earlier in our stay. Good food and reasonable prices and NO TRAFFIC. In fact, the only noise we heard at night were the waves and frogs. All the staff were friendly and we felt safe during our stay.

Awesome spot/ Great friendly people

If your looking for a quiet lovely spot to unwind and relax this is the spot . The extra human touch with arranging all transport to and from airport as well as rental car delivery makes for a easy entry to Barbados. Surf bar near by added bonus . And would highly recommend afternoon short trip nearby to the four square distillery for what I would say is the best selection of rum made on planet . Thanks for stress free holiday !

hidden Gem in Barbados

This was our first adventure to Barbados and though a quick one we couldn't have asked for a more charming adventure. First the communication with Wolfgang and Rosie in preparing our stay was warm inviting and first class. Each little villa at Inchcape are immaculately taken care of and offer first class stay for a great cost. There is no pool but the private little beach is perfect. We had the opportunity to see all the villas and each is a special retreat for a romantic getaway or great family stay. This was a very special trip for us that was superb. We stayed in cottage A which was stunning and gave us a private roof top patio a lovely side porch and breakfast front patio. The kitchen has all you need including a wonderful chef that can cook an amazing Barbadian dish on request. Mr. D and Karen the taxi service can also be arranged and their verhicle are lovely. Thankyou for this adventure we look forward to a future visit hopefully with our family next time

Lovely spot, but remote

This is a lovely place, and the people whom I met there were so friendly and helpful. It was my first visit to Barbados, though, and I wasn't quite aware of how far away from the action it is. You definitely need to rent a car! However, I will say that it was nice to come back at night to such a quiet spot.

We can't wait to go back!!!! It was like a second honeymoon!

We loved this place. It was perfect for us, and we are hoping to go back next year! It was a very romantic, intimate spot. It was like a second honeymoon for us. The island is very nice but the best part about it was the time spent right at Inchcape enjoying the hammock, gardens, and beach. The grounds are lovely, and the beach and views were to die for. We enjoyed our evening strolls to the Surfer's Beach Bar for happy hour and the best mahi mahi and mac pie on the entire island.

Spectacular!

Beautifully located on a gorgeous stretch of ocean. Has its own beach with great views of the colorful kite surfers. Lovely stone architecture and full time security. Conveniently located to a mini mart, the bus and the lively, fun Surfer's Bay Bar.

A little bit of Heaven

Inchcape Seaside Villas is exceptional! The place is even prettier than the pictures and if you are like us, you are drooling over the pictures right now. The turquoise blue ocean is steps away from the unit, the pounding waves lull you to sleep at night. The gentle, tropical breeze is always present to keep you cool, you don't even think of needing a/c. Wolfgang and his staff take care of your from your first step on the island at the airport, with Rodney waiting to take you to the villa. The staff is there is greet you and show you around. The rental car is dropped off at the villa for you. The unit is comfortable, clean and perfect for a couple. Your personal maid cleans the unit and gives you fresh towels and sheets every couple of days. The view from the unit is great, but sitting at the table you have a privacy wall that prevents a full view, the upper deck area that is for the unit has a limited view but is awesome. The grounds of the property are like a garden and there are plenty of chairs, hammocks and even some day beds to lay and watch the beautiful water. A modern grocery store is about 10 min. away by car, there is a great seaside bar within walking distance, and several beautiful beach areas to enjoy that can be walked to. This was our first time in Barbados and we can't wait to go back. We would certainly stay at Inchcape again.

A slice of paradise...

Inchcape is a lovely slice of paradise! Friendly, clean and very well-maintained grounds with an unrivaled view. Our Coconut home had everything we needed including our own yard with outdoor shower, hammock and dining area. Beach is right there and the sound of the waves is lulling and a great way to go to sleep. Breezes blowing... Staff could not have been more accommodating and we will think of their warm smiles as we head back into a blizzard...

Lovely Stay

My friend and I decided on a quick trip to Barbados, which lead us to Inchcape. Our room was as described and perfectly situated (only having to take a few steps to the ocean). The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Prior to our arrival Wolfgang arranged transportation to and from the airport as well as a rental car that arrived shortly after we did. I would definitely return to Inchcape.

Traumurlaub in den Inchcape Seaside Villas

Für meinen Mann und mich ist Barbados einer der schönsten Plätze auf der Welt wenn es darum geht einen tollen Strandurlaub mit garantiert gutem Wetter zu verleben. Und in Barbados gibt es keinen besseren Platz für uns als die Inchcape Seaside Villas und hier lieben wir ganz speziell das Garden Apartment. Das Garden Apartment ist das billigste 1 Schlafzimmer Apartment auf dieser Anlage. Trotzdem kommt es mit den gleichen Annehmlichkeiten wie die teuersten Wohnungen im Inchcape. Das Internet ist sehr schnell und verlässlich, funktioniert in allen Räumen und sogar auf den beiden Aussen Terrassen und das Streaming von Filmen oder das Schauen von Sportveranstaltungen funktioniert perfekt. Das Apartment ist für eine Ferienwohnung hervorragend ausgestattet. Es hat einen grossen Ofen mit 4 Kochstellen, und einem grosssen Backofen, einen grossen Kühlschrank, mehr Töpfe, Geschirr und Besteck etc. als man von einer Ferienwohnung erwarten kann. Der Fernseher ist ein ganz neuer Flachbildschirm TV von einem namhaften Hersteller, die Stereoanlage hat einen Steck Kontakt für iphones der 5er und 6er Serien. Möbel und Sitzgelegenheiten gibt es für weit mehr Personen als das Apartment beherbergen kann. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, hat ein Schlafzimmer, ein Wohnzimmer, eine Küche + Badezimmer und nicht zuletzt 2 grosse Terrassen auf verschiedenen Ebenen, ca. 20 Meter vom Strand entfernt mit schönem Blick auf’s Meer. Es gibt keine Mauern die die Sicht versperren und dass das benachbarte Hotel geschlossen ist, ist eher positiv als negativ zu bewerten. Die Aussenanlagen sind normal gepflegt und der paradiesische Strand fühlt sich für die Besucher des Inchcape fast an wie ein Privatstrand.. Die Terrassen sind sowohl mit Tischen, Stühlen und auch Sonnenliegen bestückt. Eine Hängemate unter den Kokospalmen in der kleinen, privaten Garten Anlage die zum Garden Apartment gehört sorgt für das “Robinson Crusoe” Gefühl, und je nach Stand der Sonne gibt es zu jeder Tageszeit ein Plätzchen im Schatten in den Aussenanlagen des Garden Apartment. Die Besitzer und Angestellten im Inchcape kümmern sich rührig um Ihre Gäste und der Service der geboten wird geht weit uber das hinaus was man normalerweise erwarten kann. Die Maids sind superlieb und tragen nicht unerheblich dazu bei, dass man sich als Gast wie in seinem karibischen zu Hause fühlt. Barbados hat ein phantastisches Klima. Great spot for kitesurfing

Spent 2 weeks at Inchcape and had a fantastic time. Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We had a fantastic spot right on the beach and our unit spotless and beautiful. Just what we were looking for.

My broken heeled girlfriend cried when she got here,(she soon changed her mind) She said, "how do we get anywhere, it is too remote" Well it is far from remote. It is a wonderful spot. There is a bus stop 7 to 10 minutes walk away. These are the buses that take you almost anywhere for 2 Bajan dollars, fantastic value. Because of her inability to walk more than than a few yards, i hired a car. We always hire cars when away, so much more freedom to explore. The top man at Inchcape Seaside Villas is Wolfgang and he is a top man. He will find you a car if you want one, he is also the man to ask a "million" questions and he does not mind you doing that. He even gave us a lift into town on our first day, knowing that our car was not coming until the next day. (Poor planning on my part.) All the staff were lovely too, especially the lady who looked after us who's name escapes me, apologies! The accommodation has everything you need as a home from home. If you want to cook at home you can, nice large kitchen with all the pots and pans one needs. We don't cook on holiday! There is a large fridge for beer storage, comfortable bed, large sofas and nice shower room. All very tastefully decorated too. Every evening after returning from our day out, we relaxed at one of the three seating areas outside The Garden Apartment. All one could hear were the waves lapping against the shore, all you could feel was the lovely sea breeze. I have not been so chilled out in a long time. For us, being from the south of England, booking Inchcape and the Virgin flights from Gatwick separately was a "No Brainer". I can see why families sometimes go all inclusive, but to me this is much better value. All Inclusive would have cost us in the region of £2000 more and we would have been tied to one place to get our money's worth. This way we could eat at a different place every day/night and explore lots of different beaches etc. The day we left she cried again, partly due to the fact we were returning to the English winter, but mostly because we were leaving this idyllic place. Some people will say that the ugly disused hotel nearby is a negative, I think the opposite. Being empty mens there is nothing and nobody to ruin the serenity. As I say in the title Marvellous.

Traumurlaub auf Barbados

Wir waren 10 Tage im Garden Apartment. Das Apartment hat für 2 Personen eine perfekte Größe, alle 3 Tage wurde das Apartment gereinigt. Ein Auto hatten wir Vorort auch gemietet (wurde von Wolfgang organisiert und hat alles super geklappt). So waren wir flexibel und konnten die Insel und die herrlichen Strände erkunden. Die Anlage und unser Urlaub war ein echter Traum.

We were the first windsurfers in Silver Sands and made Silver Sands known as one of the best wave windsurfing and kitesurfing spots in the world. We are part responsible for the boost in tourism for the area we are located in. Numerous articles written by us and written by others about us and our activities, which were published in magazines wold wide and so contributed to lift the south coast of Barbados on the world map for outdoor activities as windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUP, surfing, boogie boarding cycling and many other sports. And in the tailwind of those who are now coming to take advantage of our incredible outdoor sports conditions, the ones who just seek to relax on a white sand beach also make a good percentage of tourist arrivals to the island.

The Inchcape Seaside Villas are situated in a unique location, right on the water at the western end of Silver Sands Beach. Inchcape, as it presents itself today, developed from a plantation property in 1920 and combines now the charm of the old with all modern amenities. Due to our location and proximity to the water we enjoy the best climate Barbados has to offer.
The houses have constantly been renovated and upgraded and Inchcape is recognized today as a unique and one of the most luxurious properties of such a kind in Barbados. Our beach is a beautiful and almost private beach, and has it all, from calm waters like on a pond to a small shore break at one end of the beach, which makes it the perfect beach paradise which again suits a broad range of holiday makers. Silver Sands Beach can be for everybody, from the sport enthusiast to the one who just wants to relax and enjoy the beautiful turquoises waters of this pristine white sand beach.
