This nicely converted, 19th century, detached, cider mill holiday cottage is near the owner’s farm, with views over lawned gardens and meadows, in the cider apple county just south of the fine medieval town of Ludlow. It’s a short drive from woodland walks, fishing in the Teme Valley and the border country. The dining area retains a magnificent cider mill (one of the few that survive in the area) and the living room has external granary steps. Good walks from the door, and all the attractions of Shropshire and Hereford an easy drive. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Third or 4th visit to this cottage.
Third or 4th visit to this cottage. I don't recognise the previous reviewer's comments on this property. It is a 19th century cottage. What do they expect - a jacussi bath & rotisserie oven ? The only points they are correct on are how dog friendly it is and how helpful & friendly the owners are. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. It is warm, comfortable & peaceful. A perfect base for visiting the many places of interest in Shropshire & Herefordshire. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We thoroughly enjoyed our break at Cider Mill Cottage.
We thoroughly enjoyed our break at Cider Mill Cottage. The cottage was cosy and comfortable and the location was great for walking. Ludlow was about 10 mins away by car with many facilities. Sue and Martin were on hand to help and advise and the village of Orleton was just lovely. A great place for a get away from it all holiday and a good rest. Will be back! My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. We were able to take our dogs with us too. The garden was large, safe and very suitable for the dogs. The cottage was very unusual historically, with a large circular stone trough and wheel, used to crush apples, downstairs. The facilities offered were good. There were enough places open for us to go walking each day with our dogs. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Our 8th time at our "home from home" with two bookings already made for next year.
Our 8th time at our "home from home" with two bookings already made for next year. Great secure garden for our Jack Russell to enjoy and always a lovely welcome from the owners. Beautiful countryside, lots of places to visit especially the cheese dairy at nearby Monkland and the historic church and arches at Shobdon. Highly recommended.
