Conveniently located just 18 miles from Dover where the ferries run regularly to France and within easy reach of attractions such as Port Lympne Animal Sanctuary, miniature steam railway, castles and the cathedral city of Canterbury. The Channel Tunnel is just a short drive away as well as several sandy beaches. Shops 1½ miles, 2 pubs, one ½ mile and one 1 mile.

Nice place to stay, friendly owners and very helpful.

Nice place to stay, friendly owners and very helpful. Plenty to do and see very close by. Had a good day on the Hythe railway with an all day ticket. White Cliffs is also worth a visit.

Nice and comfortable house, big garden for kids to play, nice little terrace to enjoy a glass of win

Nice and comfortable house, big garden for kids to play, nice little terrace to enjoy a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset for the parents after dinner. Great view, spacious feel. Don’t forget to bring your binoculars, as you are right across the Lympne safari grounds! No amenities right outside the property, but lots to do in the surrounding area and lots of shops and restaurants in Hythe, Dymchurch, New Romney. Also various options for wildlife, culture and history trips. We enjoyed being out and about just as much as relaxing ‘at home’ for a day. Very close to the ferry to France, so little last-day-stress. Bedroom windows can be blinded, making for good nights sleep (if your children sleep through the night). Also a lot of space for clothing/belongings in the bedrooms, which adds to the homely feeling. Some walks possible from the back of the garden, following a public footpath. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Eaton Barn.
