Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds Ensuite Wet Room: Shower, Toilet, Shower Seat, Grab Rail. Private parking for 2 cars.. All properties: Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Lawned garden with garden furniture and barbecue. No smoking. Please note: There is a river 200 yards from the properties.. Burracott Farm offers the ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Set within a sheltered valley with superb countryside views all around yet just 3 miles from the glorious North Cornish coast. Cider Barn and Homeleigh Barn are semi-detached and have been lovingly converted to retaining much charm and character, whilst Millers Rest is a spacious single storey detached property. All 3 properties are coastal properties. Sheep and cattle graze in the fields surrounding the cottages and the area is a haven for wildlife. Whether surfing, walking, playing golf, fishing or simply relaxing this stunning holiday location has something for everyone. The popular resort of Bude lies just 5 miles away and has excellent shops and restaurants, many specialising in locally caught seafood, along with a golf course, tennis, riding, indoor ’Splash’ pool, bowling and three sandy beaches. Of the many varied activities for you to do in the area, you might like the idea of a fishing trip in one of the local fishing boats; or perhaps to see the area from a bird’s eye vantage point in a microlight aircraft from Davidstow Moor. The picturesque fishing villages of Boscastle and Tintagel are just 15 miles. Eden project and the wild beauty of Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moors are all within easy driving distance. Shops 2½ miles, pubs 3 miles.

We had a lovely time during our week at Miller's Rest.

We had a lovely time during our week at Miller's Rest. The cottage was a brilliant size for a family of four with plenty of room. The kitchen equipment was limited for self catering and the wet rooms needed a little TLC due to use over time but nothing major. The location for Widemouth Bay and Bude (approx. 10min drive to Bude) was perfect. Being on a working farm added to the charm of the location and it was nice to be able to walk around. Carol and Michael were very welcoming and on hand if anything needed. Overall a lovely stay and would recommend. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely position and nice cottage.

Lovely position and nice cottage. Only criticism the sofa and chairs were a bit low for us oldies, otherwise very good. The owners were really helpful; and there was a lovely cake waiting for us on our arrival.

Millers Rest is a lovely cottage in a beautiful tranquil location . The cottage is very clean and tidy and the hosts Micheal & Carol are very nice and caring of their quests comfort . The only negative was the leather furniture which had seen better days and you were almost sitting on the floor, that aside it was fantastic..

Had an amazing week, so peaceful and relaxing, cottage was lovely, very spacious, very welcome tea tray, milk and gorgeous cakes on arrival, fresh flowers, lots of fluffy towels, quality bedding, really comfy firm bed, slept so well all week, lovely views from the windows in the lounge. stunning sun rises and sunsets, plenty of hot water, heating, fantastic oven, we didn’t use the main wet room as the flooring was lifting up in places and the towel rails had rusty bits which needs looking at before it gets worse, but it wasn’t a problem as we used the other wet room, the leather sofa needs replacing, obviously very good quality when new, but too soft and saggy now, we struggled to get out of it as not very supportive, not good if got bad back or mobility issues, the owners Carol and Michael are on site in the farm and were lovely and welcoming, Bude itself is great, lots of coastal paths, saw kingfishers, herons, visited Port Issac, Tintagel and Padstow... gorgeous...we will be back hopefully to this gorgeous part of Cornwall, thank you for a great chilled out week
