A welcome break
Overall we enjoyed our stay at Meadow Cottage and thank the owners so much for making us feel so welcome. Good points: - beautifully & tastefully decorated - very comfortable beds - comfortable furnishings - very fast WiFi - spotlessly clean when we arrived - sheep to view out of the windows! - an enormous flat garden which my son in particularly loved - peace and quiet with very little light pollution - perfect for star gazing! - delicious scones, jam and cream on arrival Suggestions for improvement: - include instructions for all equipment - include information about the local area - increase the number of plates and bowls so that you don’t need to run the dishwasher after every meal - include basic essentials e.g. salt, pepper, oil, foil, cling film, hand soap, coffee and tea bags - somehow improve the shower so that it’s consistently both powerful enough and warm - improve the heating in the bathroom Overall a very welcome stay. Thank you so much!

Overall lovely comfortable accommodation.
Overall lovely comfortable accommodation. On a working farm so on arrival there is a bit of an aroma, however you soon become used to it and don’t notice after 15 minutes of being there. Unfortunately for us a slight damper was put on our stay by a grumpy altercation from the owner, even though we were not breaking any of the rules of the booking. A misunderstanding I’m sure, however the issue could have been raised cordially and not in the manner it was. We booked both cottages and feel if there was a separate family next door, the sharing of the garden would not have been enjoyable. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage had all the basics, however the internet signal was quite weak. Power shower was lovely after a long day exploring Cornwall. Had a great time at Meadow Cottage.
Had a great time at Meadow Cottage. Quiet location on the edge of a family farm, huge garden which is well kept. Cottage was spotlesly clean and cosy. Kitchen well equiped and beds comfortable. Just like home from home. Highly recommend this cottage.

On the whole we had a lovely stay in Meadow, Cottage, one week 4-12 October 2019.
On the whole we had a lovely stay in Meadow, Cottage, one week 4-12 October 2019. The cottage itself was cosy and warm, very clean and an abundance of hot water. The double bed we slept in was really comfy. The downside was it’s location, in that to get to any major road you needed to go down some very narrow one car tracks, very muddy and uneven, with very few passing points, one day we came across the dustbin lorry which proved a real stressful problem for us at the time, so we felt we would not like to travel along these lanes at night. So a minor criticism I would state would be to provide some DVD’s in the cottage for the evenings, the TV was good but we struggled some nights to find a decent film to watch. I know these will seem minor details to pick up on, but I feel they are worth mentioning. Sorry we didn’t take any photos of the cottage...
