Small lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and gas barbecue. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This spacious cottage, attached to the owner’s home, forms part of a 16th-century farmhouse and is the ideal choice for a peaceful holiday. It is located on the edge of the village of North Petherwin, close to the market town of Launceston and only 15 minutes from the north coast and its beaches. Launceston has shops, restaurants, a castle, steam railway, and golf course.



Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are close by and there are many attractions such as the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Shop 5 miles, pub, and restaurant 3.6 miles.

Exceptionally clean and well equipped holiday cottage in quiet location with nice garden and external seating areas. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts. Shops and pubs are all available in Launceston a short distance away but not in village. This did not concern us and was a positive as we prefer the quiet rural location. Would thoroughly recommend Barton Cottage.

The cottage was outstanding, very comfortable, well equipped and peaceful. Good location for coastal walks, Tintagel, Port Issac, Boscastle, Bude and Bodmin Moor. Launceston is a lovely town with a large Tesco, petrol station, Co-op etc.

Really lovely cottage (own garden came in very handy). Well equipped. The people who own the cottage live next door and value your privacy. Certainly wouldn't hesitate in booking this cottage again.
