Absolutely beautiful little cottage, converted from farm buildings into a cosy retreat, whilst keeping lots of original features. It felt like a very special place. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked with everything you could need to use, the underfloor heating and log/coal burner made for a lovely warm stay. Everything was immaculate and the home made cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch.
Fabulous base for exploring Carlisle, The Lakes and Scotland. 20 minute walk to local pub which does great food and local ales. Very quiet location. Access straight onto Hadrian's Wall paths.
Would definitely recommend and return.

Lovely cottage in rural location. The rain stopped us from exploring the local walks through the adjoining fields. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the cream tea on our arrival was lovely.
