The house was clean, spacious and well appointed, and the owners gave us a warm welcome.
The house was clean, spacious and well appointed, and the owners gave us a warm welcome. It is about a mile walk from pubs/eating places but that didn't bother us. Being right next to the Strawberry Line and close to the reservoir, the house is a good base for walking and cycling, and well located for exploring further afield. We had a lovely week walking in the Mendips and surrounding area and this was a perfect base.
We had a lovely week walking in the Mendips and surrounding area and this was a perfect base. the bedrooms were large and beds very comfortable. It was fabulous having an Aga to come downstairs to in the morning as it made the kitchen warm and welcoming. The sitting room woodburner was easy to light and made that room very cosy too.
