Lakefront "Memories on Malibu" is a getaway slice of heaven on earth! Enjoy the stunning sunset views of Lake Norman while on the dock, making s'mores at the fire pit, and dining in the renovated kitchen.

The kitchen and living area feature an open concept, suited for entertaining friends and family gatherings, with floor to ceiling windows looking out on to the lake. The wet bar is a great place to mix your summer vacation drinks.

The spacious primary bedroom has a lake view, king bed, large ensuite bathroom, and walk-in closet.

The second and third bedrooms have queen beds with a bathroom on both halls, the fourth bedroom has two twin beds. The fourth bathroom is a powder room off the living area.

There are updated furnishings and flooring throughout, water views from the deck and screened-in porch, and an outdoor shower facing sunset for total relaxation. The home is a ranch, so no stairs!

Getaway on Malibu is on a “no wake” cove, perfect for swimming, kayaking (3 provided,2 stand up paddle boards as well) and floating on a raft (pick your favorite from our float room).
We are at exit 33 off of I-77, then 1 mile to paradise.

I highly recommend this charming lakeside bungalow. Christine had everything we needed for our stay. The location is conveniently located near grocery stores and restaurants. It's on a quiet, tree-lined street, very walkable. We had an incredible vacation!

Cozy and delightful home on a cove of Lake Norman. The house is spotless and offers a nice outdoor space including the screened porch, which was nice in the evenings. We enjoyed paddle boarding at sunset and sitting on the dock. The owner is attentive and available to answer questions. All in all, it was a perfect house for our extended family stay for Davidson graduation. Thank you to Christine for sharing her lovely home.

Excellent views of the lake. At night all the lights on the lake houses are stunning. Lots to do right on the property, especially if the weather is warm. My family really enjoyed the screened in porch. Christine is wonderful to work with, too. We will be back!

This was our third consecutive year stay at this property. It is clean, well maintained, and has three separate corridors with bedrooms and bath in each. The owner is easy to work with and responds quickly to inquiries. Highly recommended !

Very nice property. We were back for a family reunion and the location was great.

Nice Clean open concept. The grand kids had a great time and plenty of beds for all 7 of us. The 3.5 bathrooms was really nice. The dock was great to sit on in the AM and have a cup of coffee.

From check-in to check-out this was a stellar experience. The owner is quick and easy to communicate with. And the home is even better than listed. Truly every amenity has been provided. This was the best stocked kitchen I’ve seen, with ample cookware, appliances, utensils and even spices. We thoroughly enjoyed mornings on the screened-in porch, days on the lake, and nights by the fire. And the property is extremely convenient to groceries, shops, restaurants and the interstate, but feels remote and peaceful. We will definitely return to this home (and I rarely say that after a vacation).

Fun family get-away

Our extended family enjoyed the quiet cove with nice dock. The floats provided were used and enjoyed by adults and kids alike. We also enjoyed the screened porch and fire pit. The house was clean and attractive; owner easy to communicate with and responsive to questions.

If you like sunsets.....

The house was really wonderful. From the dock, you have a great view of the western sky. Luckily we had some spectacular sunsets during our week stay. Good floaties and kayaks. Hoping to return next year!

Family fun on the lake!

We had a fabulous time on Lake Norman. Our favorites in the lovely house included the great dock, complete with 2 kayaks and a whole room of floaties, beautiful deck and screened in porch, well-stocked kitchen, lots of bathrooms, and comfortable beds. Would highly recommend.
