Great week
Difficult to complain about anything. Everything was as it should be, however there were three niggles. We couldn't adjust the very, very hot shower, the very, very quiet TV volume (impossible to hear when next door put on their washing machine - as they did frequently) or open the living room windows (for fear of breaking the frame). These were minor and could, I'm sure, be dealt with. Otherwise the cottage was in a great position in the village with its Crab shop, village shop and pub: there are walks from the front door and numerous houses and Gardens to visit, never short of anything to do.

We loved our week here in December.
We loved our week here in December. Its a beautiful little cottage hideaway, perfectly located for exploring the North Norfolk area. We ate at 3 different pubs, one only a stones throw away and being less than half a mile from a beautiful and secluded beach, an absolutely perfect break. I really want to live here now!! We had a lovely stay at Seasong over the Christmas week.
We had a lovely stay at Seasong over the Christmas week. - thank you for the Christmas tree and decorations! The cottage is well located and we enjoyed exploring the coast in spite of some bad weather at times. Thankfully we were able to eat out on a couple of occasions - The nearby Dun Cow, and Wells Crabhouse Seafood restaurant, before the area fell under Tier 4 restrictions (fortunately at the end of our holiday). The cottage itself is very clean and cosy and we liked the simplistic style. The bed was of perfect firmness for us and has inspired us to upgrade our own mattress. I suppose the only thing that was a bit on the negative side was the gate as it was a struggle to open it at times to the point that we didn't allow it to slam close anymore incase we couldn't get it open again. Also, I am not sure that the main oven works - I tried it a few times but it never heated up, so I used the top oven to cook the turkey and staggered cooking the Christmas dinner over several hours. Overall a great week away which was much needed, however I think staying in warmer months would probably make it even better to avoid the bitterly cold winds and make use of the secluded garden.
