From here lots of boating activity can be watched and nearby Wroxham, the Broadland ‘capital’, offers boat hire. Norwich with its cathedral, castle, museums, theatre and fine shopping is 7 miles. Steam railway, nature trails, craft centres and golf locally. Sandy beaches 10 miles. Horning boasts an indoor swimming pool and fitness centre, shops and riverside inns serving food.
