Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, even providing us with a Devon cream tea with scones etc and wine in the fridge!
My husband is elderly and disabled and would have found a higher level armchair better to sit on in the lounge. One or two grab rails in the shower area would also have been helpful. In general the amenities with aground floor bedroom and shower were ideal for us and our daughters were able to have privacy upstairs.
Altogether a very attractive house in a beautiful location. We will recommend it to friends and family.

The cottage is clean and well equipped the rooms are spacious, and the kitchen is a good size with a large table and chairs, it could do with a little more lighting although this is a minor detail and only my opinion, outside there is a large patio with table and chairs, there is also a good size barbecue, and a large play area with a swing and a slide plus several outdoor toys, the owner is very friendly and was there to meet us when we arrived, altogether we had a very enjoyable stay and hope to return in the future.

We had a great holiday and the cottage was a great base from which we could explore the area. The owners are lovely and very helpful. Cottage was very clean and well appointed. Beautiful views and a lovely sunny patio. You definitely need a car to get out and about. There are a couple of nice parish walks which you can do from the cottage but the route takes you “off piste” so consider footwear carefully before setting off! Lyme Regis is only 10 mins away in the car and is well worth many visits. Also recommend Clouds Hill (TE Lawrence) and the Hardy properties. Golden Cap (National Trust) has fantastic views and is well worth the climb. Also Charmouth for fossil hunting. Lyme fish bar for fish & chips! Tytherleigh Arms for gourmet eating. We had a superb week and plan to return .
