Myself, my husband, my 1 year old baby and my dog stayed here for a 3 night break and we had such a lovely time! The cottage is very dog and baby friendly and the location meant it was just a. Short drive to many dog and baby friendly attractions. We loved the fact the owners were ok with leaving your dog in the cottage, even though we didn’t do this it was good to have the option. The little garden was perfect and secure! We are thinking it would be lovely to go back at some point in the summer to do more of the local activities that we missed.
When we arrived, we thought we'd come to the wrong place as the cottage is much bigger than it looks from the outside and high spec inside. It was early Feb and it was super cosy and warm. The fire was prepared and ready to just throw a match in. The owners were super friendly, and the location was great. We stayed for three nights but could have easily have stayed for longer.
Adequately equipped cottage, we had a couple of minor problems which were quickly dealt with by Kathy.
Although in our bedroom it was not too noticeable our son and partner did have problems with the cockerel each morning.

Brimble cottage was a lovely place to stay and escape for a weekend. It was decorated for Christmas which made a nice touch and helped it to feel even more cosy. Underfloor heating and the log burner meant it was always warm and the kitchen had everything you need to cater for yourself.

Brimble is delightful.
Brimble is delightful. Well designed, spacious, warm, comfortable, well equipped and appointed. Secluded, on a hillside, with a user-friendly garden. Access is down a steep, narrow track, but parking is easy when you arrive. Added bonus was an owl serenade at night. Friendly but non-intrusive owners are on hand if any help is needed. Easy drive to the coast, and lovely sunsets from the hill.

We had a wonderful stay in Brimble Cottage, it is in a peaceful setting and a perfect location to explore the area.
The cottage was very clean and comfortable, a real 'home from home' and great consideration had been given to supplying everything you could need and extra cleaning products during these times. The garden was really pretty and it was nice that we could exercise our dog around the cottage area first thing in the morning.
We would definitely recommend Brimble Cottage and would think about staying there again in the future, we have only marked it down by one point on the equipment category as there was no dishwasher but we were aware of this before we booked the cottage, other than that, for us, the cottage was near perfection!!
Thank you to the owners for everything and for letting us enjoy a stay in Brimble Cottage.

Lovely cottage, lovely family.
Lovely cottage, lovely family. It was just what my family needed to reset and recharge. The ducks were a big hit with my son. The host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. A fault with the washing machine was quickly resolved. I can't say enough what a great place this is. We will definitely be back again. X

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings, be careful though as it’s a steep track up-to the main road. We were able to arrive early as unfortunately we had really bad weather all weekend, so it was very lovely of the owner to offer us early admission and provide a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. The cottage was delightful, clean, tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Lyme Regis was a very short drive away and the cottage provided easy access to other well known locations. Would definitely stay here again and recommend if you are looking for somewhere slightly off the beaten track. Even the neighbours horses ( in a field down the road/track!) were friendly!

Lovely little cottage with everything we needed.
Lovely little cottage with everything we needed. The only negative points I would make are that the off road track it is down is very uneven and the garden is not enclosed so we had to keep an eye on our dog when we let her out. Other than that we had a lovely stay and the owner was very friendly and left milk in the fridge which is always a godsend

Excellent choice for our short break in Dorset.
Excellent choice for our short break in Dorset. The Cottage was exactly as described - even down to the farm track leading to it. The place was immaculately clean and had everything supplied - down to a tea/coffee, milk etc makings for when we arrived.
We only briefly met the owners but they were welcoming. Ideal base to explore the Jurassic coast and surrounding area. We would definitely look to going again!

A truly idyllic little cottage set in beautiful surroundings very well equipped and clean and tidy!
Our only gripe was the cockerel that woke us anytime between 4.30am 6.00am not ideal when your in holiday and with it being so hot the windows had to be open so no chance of blocking the noise out!
