Plough Cottage has a peaceful, countryside location and a country pub within walking distance.. All on the Ground Floor:

Living/dining room: Freeview TV, DVD Player

Kitchen: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite Wet Room: Shower, Toilet

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Bathroom: Bath, Toilet. Oil central heating (£30 charge payable to owner, October - March), electricity, bed linen included. Laundry room with washing machine, and freezer (Shared). Enclosed patio and lawned garden (Shared). Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a fishing lake in the fenced paddock 330 yards away. No electric vehicle charging.. Set in peaceful countryside, this small group of immaculate and very welcoming barn conversions charmingly combine original beams and character with smart contemporary furnishings and quality decor. With enclosed shared patios and sharing a large lawned garden, they enjoy free use of a well stocked fishing lake (330 yards) are just 0.25 miles walk from a popular dining pub. Plough Cottage (ref E4682) has an en-suite room, please note there are no grab rails or shower seat. Fantasy Island and Skegness (10 miles) offer family fun and for nature lovers Gibraltar Point is a must, as are the seal breeding beaches at Donna Nook in November/December. Shop 1 mile, pub serving food 0.25 miles.



Towels are not included.

There is open water in the property grounds.

We absolutely love the cottage.

We absolutely love the cottage. The downfall for my son was no Wi-Fi which we didn’t read our fault of course everything else in the cottage was beautiful and so comfortable didn’t quite like the muckspreading on the last day of our holiday so couldn’t sit outside but otherwise we absolutely loved it

Very quiet lovely place to recharge yourself. Owner lovely lady very helpful. There are funfair rides and amusements not to far away. There’s plenty of beach walks and an equestrian centre on the doorstep. Idea for people with disabilities, wide door ways and good wet room. Very good indeed.

Beautiful setting rural and quiet. Stayed in plough cottage which is very well equipped and was spotless on arrival. Kim the owner was very pleasant and helpful. There is a small fishing lake a two minute walk from the cottages and although it's a fairly new addition the fishing is fun and all the fish in excellent condition.

It’s difficult to believe you’re in between Skegness & Mablethorpe as these accommodations make you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere , peace & tranquility out of every window but you’re only a few minutes from all the surrounding attractions and lovely beaches . Absolutely beautiful and well furnished cottage.

Absolutely beautiful and well furnished cottage. Quite a remote location so car is needed but so much to visit in the surrounding area. The fields and fishing lake are perfect for those shorter dog walks and there is a beautiful area of grass for late night toileting for the pups. The cottage is right next to a farm so there were lots of flys on fine days which was a minor inconvenience to opening the windows, but nothing that a little spray didn’t sort. Would be beneficial to have WiFi but we would definitely return in the future. An excellent welcome pack of bread, cake, milk and butter with tea and coffee etc was much appreciated and a lovely touch 😁

Ideal long weekend away with the mothers.

Ideal long weekend away with the mothers. Everything you could wish for and the mothers first experience of under floor heating, a God send in early February. There was an issue with one of the toilets but attempts were made to put this right the very next day nothing more could have been asked of our hosts Kim and Tom. Thank you both.
