We booked the cottage for our family of 4 for a weeks break.

We booked the cottage for our family of 4 for a weeks break. We chose it for its location, very quiet and in the middle of places we wanted to visit. You do have to drive to get to a shop, we took groceries with us. When we arrived Tony was there to greet us and made us very welcome. The cottage is small but just what we wanted and well equipped even though some items have been removed in line with Covid measures. We had a very enjoyable weeks stay and would recommend booking. The Old Haybarn was a cosy cottage renovated to meet most modern expectations.

The Old Haybarn was a cosy cottage renovated to meet most modern expectations. We were very comfortable as four adults. The only aspect we felt might be considered by the owners would be the addition of a second toilet downstairs. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This is a really lovely cottage, in a good location to explore Somerset/Dorset area.

This is a really lovely cottage, in a good location to explore Somerset/Dorset area. The cottage was absolutely spotless on our arrival. The owner is lovely and she left us some milk in the fridge. The kitchen was very well equipped, the bathroom looked pretty new and very clean as well. The tv was HD with extra channels including Prime, along with a dvd player. The beds were comfy and bedrooms had plenty of storage. Wi-Fi worked well with a good signal strength. The main sofa was a little elderly and the local shop was closed for a refurb so had to drive to get any groceries but really minor issues in an otherwise perfect holiday cottage. I highly recommend this cottage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage which is very comfortable and well equipped.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage which is very comfortable and well equipped. The icing on the cake was seeing the pair of swallows which nest in the outhouse. The owners who live next door are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The village itself is charming and is convenient for visiting Haynes Motor Museum, the Fleet Air Arm Museum and Sherborne Castle. I would highly recommend the cottage and we fully intend going there again.
