This cosy family cottage benefits from annual improvements to the comfort and styling. It has recently been upgraded through the addition of a luxurious bathroom with underfloor heating and a power shower with rainfall and hand-held modes. Plus a high-spec air filtration system. There is a well-equipped kitchen but with the an outstanding chip shop and lovely cafes on the doorstep you may be tempted not to cook.
TThe cottage provides everything a family might need for the perfect seaside holiday. It can accommodate six, is a minute’s walk to the sand and has beach equipment, toys and body boards available in the outhouse. The South Cornwall Coastal Path climbs up the headland behind the house and leads to some of the most awe-inspiring cliff and beach walks in Cornwall. Picturesque Mevagissey, the Georgian harbour of Charlestown, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Eden Project and Caerhay’s Castle are all within easy driving distance. The gorgeous Roseland Penninsula and pretty towns of Fowey and St Mawes all make for beautiful days out. Also in easy reach are facilities for golf, tennis, surfing, sailing and sea fishing. There is an excellent fish and chip shop/restaurant nearby. Several lovely cafes, a fabulous local shop and and a pub/restaurant five minute’s walk away.
Free WiFi
After unloading, return to public car park approx. 300 yds going back up hill to your right. There is parking at the side of the house for a small car, but it is quite a tight squeeze and manoeuvring safely is difficult. It is also compromised weekly when enough space is required to get 4 wheelie bins past a parked car.
There are low banisters at the property.
There are large gaps between banister spindles.
