An excellent base for exploring Dundee and the surrounding areas.
An excellent base for exploring Dundee and the surrounding areas. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, well equipped and very peaceful. It was also great to find a property that says it’s dog friendly and really was! Katie welcomed all 3 of our dogs and the garden really was secure. There were also a number of dog walks around the farm. Katie (our hostess) was very friendly and helpful. A great stay!

What a great location and cottage for a relaxing holiday.
What a great location and cottage for a relaxing holiday. Everything you needed was available and it was so peaceful. Great surrounding walks for the dogs and not to far to travel for beaches such as Tentsmuir. Local supermarkets also deliver to the cottage. We will be return for another relaxing break.

We had a lovely stay.
We had a lovely stay. The cottage is surrounded on all sides by a wonderful mature garden. The rooms were comfortable with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. There was plenty of seating both inside and out for our group of six. The kitchen was well equipped. It was easy to arrange a Tesco delivery and there is a fantastic local butcher. We loved watching the House Martins, which were nesting in the eves and the livestock in the neighbouring field. The host Katie was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely would return again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The garden was brilliant for the dogs, they loved it and often didn't want to come in. The cottage was comfortable and cosy. It was well placed for all the places we visited. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. We would go back there when we visit Scotland again

Islabank is a comfortable, spacious farmhouse with a lot of character.
Islabank is a comfortable, spacious farmhouse with a lot of character. Katie the owner is lovely and very helpful. The house has the most beautiful enclosed garden which is safe for children and dogs.
It is in a quiet location with good walks from the door.
There are no immediate amenities. Villages and towns are a few miles away, which is not a problem to pick things up on the way back.
We loved Blairgowrie, Kirriemuir and Perth for great riverside walks.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
