About this property

3 cottages. Padel. Big garden with kids outdoor toys. Nr Howden/York 35 mins

*2 padel courts for hire on site, new for Spring 2026*.

3 separate cottages sleeping 4 in each. Located in a rural, beautiful location just 10 minutes from the market town Howden (J37 off the M62). Booked all together you have the 3 cottages and big garden, sleeping up to 12. Perfect for groups or families to stay together. The garden is perfect for garden games and relaxing. 2 dogs welcome.

Situated on our working arable farm the cottages each have their own patio. Beyond the individual garden is a large grassed area which is ideal for group activities or sitting back and watching the wildlife.

There is lots of tarmac and safe area for children to play. We provide some outdoor pre school pedal toys as well as outdoor chalkboards. Board games are also provided.

The perfect location for a north/south get together for groups to meet. Easy reach of the M62. With direct trains to Howden train station from London. A car is needed to explore the area though.

There are so many places to visit. York is just half an hour away, Doncaster, Hull, Beverley and Selby close by. Leeds and Bridlington are1 hour. Closer to home Howden has everything you could need, a stunning park, the Minster and a great selection of independent shops and restaurants. Not forgetting Wressle Castle situated in the village and open to the public 2 weekends a year. A list of local places to visit and things to do is available.

Also well located for group get togethers for local wedding venues; The Oaks, Camblesforth Hall, Riverlands, Bunnyhill, Howden, The Grange.

For hen parties we have a list of local suppliers who will visit the cottages.

Only 1 dog is allowed in Annabel's Abode. Please don't allow in the other properties, these are pet free for future guests who are allergic. Thanks.

Hi we started running the 3 cottages back in 2012, alongside our working arable farm. We live nearby and try to meet all guests on arrival when possible.

What makes this property unique

Lots of outdoor space. Beautiful views of the farm and wildlife, children’s outdoor toys provided which are popular to play on the tarmac and garden. Big garden to relax and for family and friends games.
