Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Garden with paved area (shared with other properties on-site). Barbecue. Parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Tucked neatly behind the sand dunes and just yards from the glorious sandy beach at Sea Palling, this delightful single-storey, terraced holiday property has been completely renovated and makes a wonderful base for a seaside holiday. It enjoys extensive countryside views to the front of the property. Winterton’s circular walks and nature reserve, and fishing, boat trips and boat hire on the beautiful Norfolk Broads are all just a few miles away. Visit the grey seal colony and their pups at Horsey Gap Beach (between November - February). For children there is the treetop adventure park of BeWILDerwood at Horning, and family fun time at Great Yarmouth. Alternatively, visit the fine city of Norwich, with its castle, cathedral, museums, theatres and shopping. Walking, sailing, fishing, birdwatching and cycle hire all available locally. The owner offers a full laundry service to guests at a charge. Beach 300 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile. This property can be booked together with UK32108 to accommodate upto 4 guests.

Just the sort of place if you need to get away from it all. So very quiet and peaceful and perfect for a winter break. Very clean and well laid out accomodation with everything you need to chill out. If you want to venture out there's lots to go and explore but we just enjoyed how quiet it was

What a beautiful little cottage.

What a beautiful little cottage.....everything you need to have a lovely break in Norfolk! It has been so well laid out, it feels so much bigger than it actually is!! The bed is massive and very comfortable, and we had a sofa each to relax on after walking sections of the Norfolk Coast Path. It is a short walk over the dunes on to the beach, or a stroll along the road into Sea Palling. The cottage is isolated, but that means tawny and barn owls calling at night, and deer in the field in the morning.....it is such a peaceful setting!! The dogs settled quickly and loved their time on the beaches and dunes.....a great success all round!

Upon arrival Field Crest was presented well with all the equipment you needed for a weeks stay and a wonderful welcome pack. There were a few cobwebs and the bathroom extractor needed cleaning but nothing which affected our stay. The sofas could do with replacing and the wardrobe space is tight for two people staying for a week but we managed. Apart from the first two days listening to the neighbours dog barking constantly (which is totally out of field crest owners hands) we had a lovely peaceful stay. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach but be mindful the closest walk to beach is a steep sandy incline and decline which I found difficult but my husband didn’t as he is fitter than me. There are steps up and over the dunes to the beach but that’s a 15-20 minute walk down the road. Overall we would recommend Field Crest for a peaceful relaxing break. Just take a book or something to do as we all know the uk weather is unpredictable. It was very blustery!

A beautiful little cottage. Such an ideal spot. Sadly the weather wasn’t so perfect but that’s Norfolk and holidays in the UK so to be expected but having said that it was a mixture of sunshine and cloud with a couple of showers but we managed lots of walks on such a wonderful beach. Our fourth visit to Norfolk and by far the most ideal location for us and our dog. We did get caught in the rain a couple of times so a clothes horse would have been appreciated to hang our wet clothes on. Definitely recommend. Stunning.

Fantastically remote, pet freindly get away destination with miles of sandy beach and dunes to enjoy. There is a pub on local shop 1 and 2 miles away respectively and Statham with all the other amenities required for a relaxing break is only a 15-minute drive away. So, avoid like the plague, I don’t want you booking it when I want to ?

I almost don't want to give a good review because more people will be booking this place and getting in my way! It's a bit out of the way off the beaten track but if you follow the supplied directions it's easy enough to find. First impressions when we arrived were really favourable, it was clean, tidy and very tastefully decorated. There was tea, coffee and milk left for us, along with a piece of cake and some dog biscuits, very welcome. The beach is a short walk to the dunes, quite a scramble but good fun and it's worth the trip, sand as far as you can see and very clean. At night there is very little in the way of outside light pollution and if you have a clear night the sky is full of stars - take a glass of something outside and sit and watch. Hopefully this won't be our last visit so I'll be looking to get in early next year. Thanks to Bernie & Sarah for an excellent break.
