A nice bungalow, had plenty of space.

A nice bungalow, had plenty of space. Comfortable and homely. Beach just down the lane which dog loved. Kitchen very well equipped. Was very warm when we arrived. It is an unmade track to the estate but ok as only a short drive down. Convenient to get to most places to visit. A couple of nice takeaways down the rd

Peaceful Place

Lovely bungalow close to the beach. Very peaceful and south facing garden. Read several reviews before we went which mentioned issues with musty smell and cleanliness. We did notice the musty smell, and did spend a couple of hours cobwebbing and cleaning skirting boards, although mostly the cleaning was good. Shame about the leak around the chimney which has spoilt the paintwork on the ceiling and wall in living room. Loved the little write up on the history of the bungalow, and the rabbits hopping about in the garden. Will definitely be looking to book to stay at Silverdale again Thanks for a lovely week

mid week break

lovely very spacious accommodation, beautiful garden, for us the perfect location, as sea and sandy beach yards away, although Bacton not the most attractive of villages, it has a great well stocked shop, and super fish and chip shop. on the negative side could have been much cleaner, toaster not working and no contact number for owner

Lovely stay 2 mins from the quiet beach

Bacton is a lovely village with all the amenities we needed with a corner shop and fish and chip shop, as well as a tasty Chinese takeaway. And the beach doesn't get too busy, even in the middle of the summer. The accommodation was comfortable with a nice quiet garden, and had everything we needed on hand during our stay. Some parts of the house are in need of updating but this wasn't a problem for us. Being a 2 min walk from the beach was brilliant with 2 kids, and meant we could even do some surfing while we were there. Thanks for a lovely stay
