The living area is warm, generous and feels comfortable from the minute you arrive. It’s the kind of space where a group naturally gravitates together, whether that’s for a long evening in, a movie night, or simply enjoying the views over a glass of wine.

The house was as pictured and advertised. It was perfect for our large family’s extended stay. We had a couple of glitches but they were taken care of right away. It was very peaceful and wonderful views.
We absolutely loved our stay at Four Winds! The view was gorgeous, and the house had plenty of room for our large group of adults and children. Loved the playground, football field and games. The only minor negative was the coolish water for showers.
The house is beautifully situated in a quiet area just 5 minutes from Kinsale. Lovely garden with playground for kids , plenty of room for everyone to spend some relaxing time
This is a beautiful property with stunning views towards Kinsale. The property is very well located to a number of major sites. If you enjoy small Irish towns and countryside, you will love this location. Our children and grandchildren also enjoyed the sport field, trampoline and ping pong table. It is a great property for a family get away.
We had a great time at Four Winds!Beautiful setting and great proximity to Kinsale and Old Head cliffs. That huge kitchen table with comfortable seating for all is the heart of the house. Ryan was responsive to questions through the process.
A great house in the country of Ireland. Just 5 minutes outside of Kinsale. Plenty of room both inside and out for our group of 12. Kinsale lived up to its reputation as a great harbor town full of great restaurants and retail stores. Location gave us access to all we wanted to do in southwest Ireland. Would definitely stay here again.
House is as pictured. Beautiful scenery. House was immaculate. Ryan O’Leary was a great host.
There is a house behind this one so if the guests there are noisy in the wee hours it may disturb your sleep but overall a great place

Beautiful home and property we enjoyed our stay. As the property is a few miles from town and renting it is expensive, I would have expected a small welcome basket like the 5 other VRBO homes we stayed at in Ireland welcomed us with to help our family of 9 settle in upon arrival. There was nothing, not even a packet of sugar on site. Some tea and coffee and crackers and cheese etc don’t cost too much and would have been nice. I would recommend the property but advise the owners to give back a little something to welcome the visitors.

I don’t think you quite grasp what self catering means, it’s where guests provide there own food.
To say you want me to go shopping for cheese and crackers and other items on your food list for every guest I think is a bit much, if we were doing this then we would be charging more. The property sleeps 25 guests , so would you be expecting us to supply cheese , crackers and your other items for this many guests ?
Local supermarkets deliver to the property.
It states in the description of the property that we do not supply any food products so guests are aware of it before booking. Some guests are allergic to cheese , biscuits , wheat , nuts, this is why we do not leave any food items.
Loved the house! Plenty of space to spread out with a big group. The only thing I would say is that nothing is stocked in the kitchen or bathrooms. I might not have read the listing fully, but usually, I expect some paper towels or soap, maybe coffee. But that is the only thing I would give a heads up on. The location is so close to town and it is just a stunning view. Great for families with kids!

As per the description which you hadn’t read , we don’t supply soap , shampoo and coffee , I’m not sure why something would be left in a review for not having it , when it’s listed already in the description that we don’t supply it, so I’m confused on it.
We are glad you liked the property otherwise
The house is beautiful and comfortable. The only thing I can complain about is there were a lot of flies in the house and several dead ones all over the bottom and top floor. Additionally there were quite a few very large spiders in the sun room area, they were very much alive. The beds were comfortable and it was a pleasant stay. The only other thing I would suggest is leaving some more towels. There was only 1 per person.

In response to your review.
Yes on a 1 night stay we leave 1 towel each just like every hotel in the world does.
With regards to a few spiders in the sun room , which backs on to the grass garden area , maybe you left a door open in this room 🤷♂️
Words can not describe the absolutely stunning estate. The house has so many unique qualities its hard to consolidate. Great area for the kids to run outside while the adults relax and the outside table. Bunk room is perfect for kids. Game area with ping pong. So roomy that our 10 people never felt on top of each other. Plenty of bathrooms and showers. The views are absolutely amazing. Kinsale is now my favorite irish town. Love love love this place
Beautiful setting for the property. Out away from town but just a 15-20 minute ride to Kinsale for eating, shopping, etc. Plenty of room for large crowds and lots of outdoor activities.

It’s a 7 minute drive to town, you must have gone the wrong way😊
This house is as described. There was plenty of room for 10 adults and 2 children. It was unusually warm the days we stayed and would have liked fans to use to help keep us cool during the day. Cooking equipment and table settings were plentiful. Be sure to stop at the grocery store, as there are no spices or other ingredients available. It was nice to have two washing machines and lots of clothes drying racks. The views and serenity can’t be beat!
The views on this property are beautiful. Every day the cows come to greet you!! Ryan is very easy to reach and answered all our questions. The sun room is the best part of the house.
Wonderful house on the outskirts of Kinsale. The most beautiful setting ever! The house is huge with so many ammenities! We all loved it. Short drive into Kinsale. Would definitely stay here again!
