ELEPHANT COTTAGE, pet friendly, with a garden in Leominster

This one bedroomed cottage in Bromyard sleeps two and has one bathroom. PLEASE NOTE: OWNER ACCEPTS A MINIMUM OF 4 NIGHT STAYS ONLY.

The Elephant Cottage is located in the base of the owner’s farm and once owned by a Birmingham Circus Family who relocated to the city to retire with their animals and it was here that a baby elephant was housed in this barn – hence the name!

Today, this barn has been beautifully modernised and turned into a spotlessly clean and charming with the old beams and trusses remaining. Elephant Cottage is light and airy inside due to the high beam ceilings, and multiple windows look over the view of the surrounding farmlands.

Fishing is possible about two hundred metres away from the property in a small lake stocked with brown trout and carp. One pet welcome but no smoking is allowed on the premises. The garden is fenced with gravelled, paved and lawned areas on top of a seating area to the side of Elephant Cottage. One pet welcome.

Amenities: Central heating.. Four hob oven, grill, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine. TV with Freeview, DVD. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Fenced garden, with gravelled, paved and lawned areas, outside seating area to the side of the property, BBQ. One pet welcome. Babies in arms welcome. Off road parking. Very limited wifi outside. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 2 miles.


Region: Herefordshire offers visitors the chance to journey through lush green countryside, enjoying splendid black-and-white timbered villages, a magnificent cathedral city, a fairy tale Georgian castle at Eastnor or books galore in famous Hay-on-Wye.

Town: The market town of Bromyard is based between the town of Leominster, and the Cathedral city of Worcester, and close to Hereford and Ledbury. Bromyard has shops, cafes and pubs, as well as an annual folk festival. Ideal for walks, the Bromyard Downs and Bringsty Common are on the doorstep.

Wonderful holiday staying in the charming and very comfortable Elephant Cottage

Set in glorious country, Elephant Cottage is an excellent base for enjoying the natural beauty, historic market towns and ancient sites of the region. The cultural heritage is rich and diverse as is local produce. An extremely well considered conversion with impeccable finish throughout. The exposed timber-framing and woven laths, along with extensive use of new oak throughout and traditional door fittings add to the great charm of the cottage. Beautifully presented and very comfortable it has been a very relaxing holiday, we will be recommending Elephant Cottage to friends and family
