The Space:

It's a 140 m2 charming apartment with a beautiful wood floor, with a bright living where you will find a double size sofa-bed, TV and Wi-Fi. One dining room. Two large double bedrooms with super king size beds. One large room with two single beds, with a nice view from the balcony and another room with a single bed. Two spacious bathroom with amenities available. Towels and linen are freshly washed for you.

You can also enjoy having a meal in a very nice glass veranda.

The apartment has a full equipped kitchen for 9, with fridge, freezer, gas oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, juice squeezer, instant boiling water jar and washing machine. As a treat coffee and tea are available, enjoy!

The Neighborhood:

I do love to the market and buy fresh fruits, vegetables and fish. Walk around the Alameda and watch the Fountain works.

Going through the Avenida Guerra Junqueiro, cross the Alameda, there's some local shopping like Bordalo Pinheiro ceramic shop, and small coffee shops. Its a nice and quite avenue for shopping and having an ice cream, during day or at night.



Getting Around:

There's the subway and buses just outside the building, at 200 meters away to take you to the Historic center in 5 minutes.

Two parking's at 200 meters away by only 10,20€/24h at Praça do Chile and for 10,50€/24h an underground parking at Alameda with electric charge station.

Our property was in a good spot near restaurants and the metro. Not far from attractions. Here are the pros and cons. Pros- Good location Restaurants, grocery stores, attractions nearby in walking distance Parking is nearby ($ to park) Spacious with all the amenities you need Hair dryer works well Showers are spacious and have soap gel and shampoo Gas stove in the kitchen (we made breakfast every day) Beds and pillows are comfortable Good number of outlets to charge your devices Cons- Noisy floors which were really disturbing, above us and even in our apartment. Lots of creaking No elevator in the building Water temp in shower is just tepid (Instahot is set to 37C which is 98.6F=body temp so shower doesn't feel hot which is fine while it's summer time. The instahot that makes the hot water is very noisy as is the washer Only a single thin blanket in the apartment for the beds. No spare blankets Dining room is kind of in an awkward spot.

It was a pleasure to welcome this polite and nice family. As a courtesy we upgraded them to the newest apartment on the second floor instead of the third one which was the one reserved. During summer the blankets aren’t in the beds because it’s hot, but as explained there are extra for each bed, inside the drawers. In fact there was a problem with heating water which brand new, as all the apartment, but was replaced the day they left, and we do apologize for this invoice. Renting and apartment in a building it’s a different experience as going to and hotel. That week there was a family with small children in the upper apartments and as normal, children run and make some noise. We hope we can have a chance to welcome this family here once more!

Das Objekt ist sehr geräumig und ist ausgestattet mit allem was man für einen tollen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Vermieterin, Frau Ruela, ist eine sehr freundliche und bemühte Gastgeberin. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und mit wertvollen und nützlichen Tips für unseren Aufenthalt in Lissabon ausgestattet. Wir hatten vor ort dann auch eine Kontaktnummer der wir uns mit Fragen oder Anliegen zuwenden konnten. Alles wirklich Top. Vielen Dank dafür an Frau Ruela
