Among the green Tuscan hills, family-run Organic Farm since 1986, 25 km from Volterra, in a strategic position to easily reach the main cities of art and the coast. It offers hospitality, familiarity and accommodation in apartments from 2 to 8 beds, 2 swimming pools, large garden, breakfast with homemade jams and Tuscan dinners with local products. The farm consists of 2 facilities, San Carlo and I Reucci, which are about 700 meters from each other, separated by wheat fields and olive trees. Among the possible activities, we recommend excursions in the surroundings, cooking classes, horseback riding, and trekking; children's games and ping pong are available. Beauty in the hills of Tuscany

The quality and comfort of our apartment was even better than we thought it would be. Great room, great light and a great breeze in the evening. The entire property had lovely views where ever you looked. The pool was great and our hosts even better. We were there on the weekend so we couldn't really test the restaurant but found great places to eat in Volterra. If we come back to the region we are staying here again, without a doubt.

Sehr gepflegte und ruhige Anlage, ideal für Urlaub mit Kindern. Abends hat man die Möglichkeit für ein leckeres Dinner im kleinen Restaurant. Kleinere Abstriche beim Komfort in der Wohnung.

Lovely days at San Carlo

we spent 10 lovely days at San Carlo. The facilities were very good and the atmosphere was very warm and familiar. Our 9 year old daughter felt quite good and were entertained at San Carlo. From Ponerance we visit Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra and 3 times the beach at Cecina and Bibona. Simona and Monica did everything to have such a nice time at San Carlo, thanks again for the time.

beautiful stay in iconic italian countryside

Wow, what a lovely holiday. The farmhouse was situated in the middle of georgous countryside with lots of space to play and lounge around, and of course the pool was great. Spent days just swimming and sunbathing. The local town of Pomarance is quaint and provides everthing you need. There are wonderful beauty spots nearby like a river with a waterfall that you can swim in. Really interesting medieval towns to visit locally. The beach is a bit of a drive but well worth it (Baratti Bay is stunning). Finally, Monica was a great host and made us very welcome. Could not recommend the place higher.

Très bel endroit

Une grande maison partagée en appartements spacieux dans un cadre idéal et une propriété très bien entretenue : campagne, piscine et jeux pour les enfants. Accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires qui ont la volonté de faire découvrir leur région et donnent toutes les informations nécessaires. Seul bémol, de petites terrasses extérieures sur lesquelles on est un peu à l'étroit.

Sehr schönes Anwesen mit netten Vermietern

Wir können San Carlo auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen . Wir durften 14 schöne Tage dort verbringen. Simona und ihre Schwester, sowie der Rest der Familie sind sehr nett. Wir haben an einem 4 Gänge Menü teilgenommen, das sehr lecker war und auch die Atmosphäre auf der Terrasse war toll. Am Pool hat man durch die Bäume zu jeder Tageszeit Schatten. Die Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein.

San Carlo

Wir Familie, 2 Kinder 15+17 und ein Hund haben zwei schöne Wochen in der Anlage San Carlo verbracht. Das Haus war wie in der Anzeige beschrieben, und wie die ganze Anlage sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt. Wir haben viele Auspflüge in die Umgebung unternommen, z.b. nach Pisa oder Volterra. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett, freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen

Freundlich, Rustikal und einfach Liebenswert, Toskana pur

Das Agriturismo San Carlo (Il Reucci - das Schwesterdomizil befindet sich ca. 500-600m Fußweg vom Haupthaus entfernt) liegt in einer sehr schönen, toskanatypischen Umgebung. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. Die Gäste sind bunt gemischt, vorwiegend Italiener, sowie Holländer und wenige Deutsche (soweit wir das beurteilen können). Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Jedoch sollte man entweder etwas italienisch oder zumindest Englisch beherrschen. Besonders empfehlenswert ist das typisch toskanische Abendessen (Menü, welches von Simona und ihrer Schwester frisch vorbereitet wird) mit einem wunderbaren Ausblick von der Terrasse auf die toskanische Landschaft. Unsere Wohnung war sauber und zweckmäßig sowie mit viel Liebe teils mit rustikalen Möbeln eingerichtet. Alles in Allem sehr empfehlenswert für einen rundum gelungenen Urlaub.

Toskana total

Im Sommer 2011 haben wir unseren Sommerurlaub in der Anlage San Carlo verbracht. Das Appartement haben wir wie beschrieben vorgefunden. Es war sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Außenanlage war super gepflegt und die Betreuung durch die Vermieter war außergewöhnlich freundlich und angenehm. (Bedingt durch Staus konnten wir erst um 23:00 Uhr anreisen- ohne Probleme) Sie standen für Tipps zum Einkauf und zu Ausflügen gerne zur Verfügung. Das gebuchte Essen in der Anlage war hervorragend. In der Anlage sind neben dem Pool auch noch Tischtennis und Bocchia möglich. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten sind das nahe gelegene Volterra, aber auch Siena und Florenz sind von hier gut zu erreichen. In der Anlage selber war es ruhig, so dass man sich gut erholen konnte. Wir werden gerne noch mal wieder kommen.
