This large apartment for 6/11 people is located in an elegant and quiet residential area close to the charming Trastevere district, the cultural and social heart of the city, and a short walk from Trastevere railway station (terminal to/from Fiumicino airport). Renovated and furnished with care (last renovation: November 2024), the apartment is located in a 1922 Umbertine-style building with an elevator. It consists of: a large living room with a large dining table, two sofas (one of which is a bed for two people) and a color TV, a fully equipped kitchen complete with: 4-burner stove, washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, oven, toaster, coffee maker, and kettle. Four bedrooms: a large double bedroom with an extra single bed, a double bedroom with a French bed, a small bedroom with bunk beds, and a small bedroom with a French bed. With the sofa bed, the apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 11 people. There are two bathrooms: one with a shower and one with a double sink and bathtub with shower. In addition, guests have access to an iron and ironing board, air conditioning in all rooms (included in the price), a free cot (on request), and Wi-Fi.
The price includes: central heating, air conditioning, electricity consumption, check-in, sheets, and bed linen.
- The tourist tax is €5.00 per day per person (only for those over 10 years of age).
The apartment is completely independent, all areas and services are for the exclusive use of the guests who have booked. No space is to be shared with others.
We hope that staying with us will contribute to making your vacation in Rome a pleasant one.
We will do everything we can to help you, and we hope that nothing will disturb your peace and quiet. We will not disturb your privacy. We are not present in the accommodation, but we live nearby. If you need help, you can always count on us.
We are available for check-in at any time. Check-in is free of charge. For arrivals outside normal working hours (after 7:00 p.m.), a fee of €30 is required (for the lady who will be waiting for you). If you arrive after midnight, the fee is €45 (at night, the lady will have to take a taxi home).
Generally, vacation apartments are ready for new guests at 2:30 p.m. Check-out is requested by 10:00 a.m. on the morning of departure! However, there are usually no problems if you arrive earlier. If the apartment is not ready, you can leave your luggage, pick up the keys, and start enjoying your vacation, returning to the apartment later.
The same applies on the day of departure: we ask you to leave the apartment by 10:00 a.m., but if If you need to stay longer (your flight is in the afternoon), you can leave your luggage and return by 2:00 p.m. to pick it up and leave the keys for the new guests. The people who come on vacation with us are always kind and very understanding, and we have never had any problems extending this small courtesy to our guests.
The apartment is very well located, with everything you could need just a few steps away: bars, supermarkets, banks, restaurants, pharmacies, first aid, etc.
The area is very central and well served by public transport: a relaxing vacation just a few steps from the center of the Eternal City, in one of the most beautiful residential neighborhoods in Rome. The street is very quiet and the area is very safe (even for walking around at night). At the same time, however, you will be a stone's throw from all the major points of interest: 500 meters away is the heart of Trastevere, the beating heart of Roman nightlife, 150 meters away is the historic Sunday market of Porta Portese, and 200 meters away is the Trastevere Station, the terminal to/from Fiumicino Airport (travel time 25 minutes) and an urban connection to St. Peter's Basilica, which can be reached in less than 5 minutes.
There are too many things to do and see in Trastevere to mention them all: In the morning, you can have breakfast in one of the many bars in the area, such as “Bar San Callisto” in the square of the same name, or “Cecere” in Via Musolino 49, famous for its zabaglione ice cream. The Desideri pastry shop on Via Barrili is excellent and can be reached on foot. Don't miss: the churches of S.Agata, with the famous statue of the Madonna de Noantri, patron saint of the Trastevere district, and S.Maria in Trastevere, with its important mosaics; the square of Santa Maria in Trastevere and the fountain, the botanical garden, and the Farnesina building, with frescoes by Raphael. Around Santa Maria in Trastevere, you will find many shops that are also open at night, or you can dine in one of the many typical restaurants.
And finally, when and IF you get tired of museums, ruins, and churches, you can retreat to your bright and quiet apartment. The area in which it is located is much loved by its inhabitants, who have a strong sense of belonging and feel like “Monteverdini” as well as Romans: you will find that the area is well equipped with shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, banks, and even the hospital (S. Camillo) is just a stone's throw away.
If you feel like taking a walk in the surrounding area, you will discover that you are in one of the most beautiful residential neighborhoods in the city. Not to be missed in the area: the top of the Gianicolo, an evening destination for lovers in Rome (from the square dedicated to Garibaldi, you can enjoy a romantic view of the city). Also on the Janiculum Hill, you can admire the Fontanone, a splendid Baroque fountain built in a beautiful panoramic position (used by Sorrentino for the first scene of the Oscar-winning film “The Great Beauty”), the Tempietto di S. Pietro in Montorio, a small Renaissance masterpiece by Bramante (built on the site where, according to tradition, the apostle Peter was crucified), the Basilica of S. Pancrazio (with its catacombs), Villa Doria-Pamphili (a masterpiece by the architect Algardi) and Villa Sciarra, two large green oases where Romans love to take refuge and recharge their batteries away from the traffic and noise of the city.
In the evening, just head down to Trastevere or Testaccio (both a stone's throw away) and all the nightlife of the capital will be at your disposal. These two characteristic Roman neighborhoods will welcome you with their attractions, jugglers, street stalls, buskers, and many restaurants where you can sample typical dishes of our cuisine, the same ones enjoyed by Rugantino and the Marchese del Grillo.
Staying here, you can combine practicality and relaxation, essential ingredients for a wonderful vacation.

About the host
Hosted by danila corinti
Hi, I'm Danila, as a person I’m dynamic (sometimes even too much), I love children (I have 2 beautiful daughters), animals, gardening, I love traveling and I love this job!
I like to meet people, to talk to them, and sometimes, why not, keep in touch! It is truly fulfilling when, after spending a vacation in one of our places, people get back to me and let me know that they have had a good time!
I can not always meet my guests in person (I divide my time between Rome and Tuscany, where we have a farm), but I personally answer to their questions, take care of their request and organize their sojourn. I’m glad when people decide to spend their vacation in our beautiful country, that I love so much, and I try to help them making the best

Why they chose this property
We lived in this apartment for many years, then the family has grown and we had to move, but there we left our heart. We remember especially the beautiful light that floods in the morning, the silence of the street (although so central), the familiar atmosphere you breathe, almost like in an old village, despite being in the heart of a big city. We are confident that our guests will appreciate it.
What makes this property unique
I always loved the houses of the early decades of the last century, the wooden floors, stucco on the ceiling, the atmosphere so special. I have not a great sympathy for modern homes, where no one has lived before me, they give me a sense of strangeness. This apartment has everything I like in a house, but also something more: the advantage of staying in a quiet and silent street (not a small feat in a beautiful but chaotic city like Rome). I am sure that my guests also will appreciate and love staying here.
