Gardens Cottage – Peaceful Countryside Retreat on a Private Estate
Tucked away in a secluded corner of the estate, Gardens Cottage offers a peaceful escape surrounded by fields and woodland. A gentle stream bubbles along at the bottom of the garden, creating a tranquil setting where guests can relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. With no nearby roads and countryside all around, the cottage offers a true sense of quiet and privacy.
The cottage comfortably sleeps up to four guests and is ideal for two adults and two children. Upstairs there is a king bedroom and a twin bedroom. Please note the stairs are quite steep and wooden, and the bathroom and toilet are located downstairs, which may not suit guests with limited mobility.
Downstairs you’ll find a spacious lounge with an open fireplace, making it a cosy place to unwind after a day outdoors. The fitted kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals during your stay, with a spacious open dining/ kitchen area. Relax on the deck outside to unwind in the evening.
Although the cottage feels wonderfully remote, fibre broadband is installed, providing excellent internet access throughout the property.
The surrounding countryside offers walks straight from the door, chances to spot local wildlife, and a peaceful landscape perfect for relaxing and exploring. Gardens Cottage is an ideal retreat for guests looking to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the Scottish countryside.

Very private, cosy cottage surrounded by woodland on a beautiful estate with plenty of routes to walk. The only thing that could be improved would be to have more dishes so they didn't need to be washed as frequently.
This is a fantastic property for a family get away especially for an escape from city life . Great freedom for kids from the cottage to explore in such an amazing estate . Tintoe hill was so close by and a lovely climb with wonderful views .
Fantastic stay wish it had been longer .
Blissfully Quiet but by night oh dear vermin come a scratching
Clean, quiet (during the day) and warm. Unfortunately the beds were uncomfortable and they have a pest problem at night in the main bedroom. Could of been a squirrel or mice. Luckily I had ear plugs.
TV has a tendency to lose sound and picture.
It's a shame about the rodent issue, that's a problem that probably needs sorting and the other quibbles are only minor.
