Stunning 5 Bedroom Large UNIQUE Cornish Villa 10 minutes from the North Coast.
Flaunting a fine granite exterior - Treventon is a stunning, large country house set in a village position and close to Cornwall s North shore (10mins to Watergate Bay / 15mins to Padstow). You’ll love the Victorian country house grandeur, beautiful outdoors spaces, comfy beds, wood-panelled games room and general peaceful ambiance.
Original period features abound, whilst an eclectic mix of vintage and modern pieces make staying here a truly unique experience.

The space
Treventon is a fantastic family holiday house in which to spread out, relax and unwind.
On your doorstep are local pubs, popular cafe/deli, excellent butcher and a fully stocked local supermarket (Fever Tree, halloumi, pastries and the weekend papers at your finger tips!).
Take a short drive down a country lane to one of the North coasts stunning beaches or just relax in the self-enclosed gardens; whatever the mood, you re covered. At the end of a fun filled day unwind in the glass panelled loggia, opposite the giant magnolia tree, with a well earned gin & tonic or indeed dine al fresco (bbq is provided).
N.B. This is a family house and unfortunately not suitable for stag or hen parties.
We do a minimum 7 night stay
In order to confirm your booking please contact us so we can ensure that our home is suitable for your needs.
Once you've made contact with us, we will send you our own separate contract to look over and sign
Guest can access:
the whole house and gardens
dvd library
games room with table-tennis table
BBQ is provided
various toys incl.
Interaction with guests:
We will leave you alone to enjoy you re stay. Though we'll be nearby in our seperate holiday annexe should any issue arise that you need help with.
Other things to note:
Large private driveway with parking for multiple cars. We will leave one of our cars in the driveway but there is still space for 5 more cars.
Great connections:
5 minutes to A30.
5 minutes to Newquay Airport (London gatwick/Heathrow 1hr)
20 minutes to Bodmin Parkway Railway (3hr45 to Paddington)

Mark and I moved to Cornwall 10 years ago with our 2 children leaving a busy London life behind. We are both musicians and and have spent the last 10 years raising our kids here by the sea. When we first moved to Cornwall we bought and renovated an old Engine House, which we then sold and moved here to Treventon. We fell in love with this house instantly and knew we had to live here (and yes, renovate again!) It's the perfect family house. Our kids are now 10 years older, keen surfers and horse riders and fully ensconsed in Cornish living. Yes it rains in winter (a lot!) but in the summer it doesn't get better than Cornwall. I'll be able to give you our favourite spots to discover....away from the summer craziness!
Why they chose this property
Some people have called this the Magic House. It's the most beautiful place to have a family gathering. From oldies down to babies. Space to spread out and yet be closer than ever. St Columb Major is still a little unknown which is a welcome relief in the summer months. Close enough to all the hot spots, yet far enough away to find peace and calm. Often people don't want to leave the oasis of Treventon. It's a unique property full of charm and warmth.
