The Big Cottage is the best family holiday home in Newquay. This house is a perfect base for groups small and large, although we don't accept party groups, stags or hens, we love welcoming civilised groups of friends, single or multiple families, to enjoy this perfectly positioned holiday home. Just 10 minutes walk to Fistral beach and the centre of town, it is full of goodies to keep everybody entertained, whatever the weather. There's a Play Station 4 and 72'' 3D TV in the cinema room. Free high-speed WIFI, full premium SKY TV package with NETFLIX. There's a top-quality football table and a selection of board games. Families will love the excellent childrens' playground directly opposite.
The front patio and rooms at the front have sunset views over Fistral. It is packed with amenities. There is washing machine, dishwasher and double oven and huge kitchen dining table. It has landscaped private back yard, outside shower for wet suits, seating front and back and hand-made unique furniture specifically crafted for the property. Bed set up is flexible with mixture of kingsize beds and twins/single beds that are zip and link so can be transformed into super-kingsize beds ahead of your arrival depending on your requirements.There are also bunk beds for adults and kids - all have memory foam mattresses There are 5 bathrooms/showers and one family bathroom with bath.
The house sleeps up to 14 people in comfort. No loud parties, stags or hens allowed.

Had a lovely stay at this property. House was perfect with lots of space. Having the extra cinema room at the back really helped with entertaining children and creating more space. Lots of room for all and lovely sea views. Convenient for Fistral beach and Newquay town centre.

The property was well located in Newquay and in a very quite location with views of the bay. The property was very well equipped and everything we needed was there. Super communication with our holiday manager and check in was effortless. Would recommend the property for large family escapes.

Beautiful house, large bedrooms, loads of space so you’re not on top of each other in fact we had to check rooms to make sure no one was missing . Position of house is great not far to walk into Newquay centre, or Fistral beach was a bit worried about parking but found an app that helps to find people’s drives ( charges apply) to park cars or use car park opposite. Everything you need from a modern house & the cinema room was a massive hit from the younger members of the group. Would have loved to have booked for next year but it’s fully booked .Apart from a few niggles beginning of holiday which Nick is getting sorted it’s a 10/10

Great place for a family group

We stayed at this property with our adult family members from the US. There were enough bedrooms to accommodate all of us comfortably and we would get together downstairs for games and to watch movies in the fab cinema room. It was a great base to explore Cornwall from. Nick answered our questions quickly and the whole process ran smoothly. I would recommend.

Second time staying, love it there!

We returned to this property as we’d had such a good time a couple of years ago. The house works so well as the location is perfect, just above fistral bay and near to everything but not in the centre. All within walking distance. It is very well appointed, spotless and comfortable for the adults but feels relaxed enough for the kids to chill. Nick is a great communicator and easy to contact. Overall we are big fans and hope to be back soon!

Zone9 is wonderful!

We had an amazing stay at Nick’s place in Newquay! Beautifully decorated & well appointed! Our group of 10 had plenty of space and enjoyed the views of the ocean. We had one minor mishap with a leaking shower but Nick was on it immediately. With plenty of other showers it didn’t make a dent in our stay. Our kids loved surfing and the grandparents enjoyed walking the town. Very happy with our stay!

Perfect family holiday home

This property is amazing…. From the outside you can’t imagine how wonderful this property is! Every room is bigger than expected, certainly better than described there was nothing missing that we needed…. Welcome pack to extra food and drinks…our family loved it- games for the kids- views for grandma - 6 min walk to town centre ❤️ Our only problem was that the car park opposite as extra parking was not suitable for our cars ( height restrictions) you might want to watch out for that 😊

Amazing property

This was a family get together and this property was absolutely perfect for the 12 of us. The property is absolutely gorgeous super clean and deceptively bigger than it looks, location fantastic, the kids absolutely loved the cinema room. In the evenings the adults sat round the table playing games and a few drinks whilst the kids did not move from the cinema room. We visited Falmouth, port Isaac and Padstow to name a few, we went to lane theatre for an ABBA tribute which was amazing. We all had a go at bodyboarding which was fun and so safe as the lifeguards are brilliant on the beach. The welcome pack of beers and crisps ect was truly appreciated. We had no problems parking on the car park across from the property free from 4pm-9am . We had a truly amazing holiday and would not hesitate to recommend. Thanks Nick for letting us stay at your amazing property the place is something else.

This was a large family holiday with ages ranges from 6 months to 68 years old. Overall this was a great property which met all the familys needs. The family were all impressed with size of the house and in particular the bedrooms, some were ensuite others had a personal sink which added to the privacy and was more convenient. The main bedroom has lovely views over the golf course and sea.(As I made the booking I bagged this room😂 ) The kitchen is very well equipped and has a good, large kitchen table which is always a bonus.The kitchen itself is slightly on the narrow side but this didn't cause any problems. The lounge area and Cinema room meant that there was plenty of room for everyone to relax and have their own space. The house is within short walking distance of the beach and all local amenities meaning you can leave the car parked up. We were very lucky in being able to park our cars on the road for the majority of the stay, only needing to use the car park once or twice. If I needed to contact Nick he responded straight away and when there was an issue with the Sky connection his brother came out almost immediately to try to resolve the issue. Unfortunately this couldnt be resolved and needed an engineer to sort it, this was out of Nicks control and didn't impact on the holiday. The table football proved to be very popular with everyone, especially when the weather was unfortunately not so good. I would recommend this house for a large group of people.

Three families under one roof

Great size property with space for all, very good sized bedrooms with bunks and huge super king beds, good location and great sea views over the golf course. Walking to fistral beach took about 15mins with young children.
