Set in a secluded garden, and with beautiful views of the Atlantic ocean, this is your home away from home. It is situated in the affluent, tranquil suburb of Garajau in Caniço, seven kilometres from the main city of Funchal, and about eight kilometres from the airport. The Garajau shopping area is within 5 minutes walk and has a pharmacy, several restaurants, cafes, hairdresser, bakeries and a small supermarket. From here, there are regular buses to Funchal.

The detached cliff side house comprises two, en-suite bedrooms, kitchen, sitting room and dining room all furnished with classic furniture, books and original paintings by the owner’s mother. The terrace and sitting room have stunning views of the sea. Sea bathing facilities are located in the Garajau Nature Reserve (as one of the top diving spots in the archipelago) and at Caniço’s Reis Magos beach.

Tolle Lage mit Blick auf das Meer

Das Haus ist zwar schon älter und die Einrichtung ist auch schon in die Jahre gekommen, aber wenn wann. Damit kein Problem , ist es eine Super Urlaubslocation. Ruhig gelegen in einer Sackgasse mit unverbaubaren Blick auf den Atlantik. Toller Garten und eine schöne Terrasse mit tollem Weitblick. Ein Mietwagen ist von Vorteil um flexibel zu sein. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen.😊

super schöne Lage

Es ist einfach eine Traumlage. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und stilvoll eingerichtet. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Wir haben uns dort 1Woche super wohl gefühlt.

A sea of tranquility

Tres Palmeiras is a fabulous house with 2 en suite double bedrooms high on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic, in the pleasant area of Garajau, close to Funchal. There is a wonderful terraced garden to explore and enjoy, well kept with lawns, plants, trees - a sea of tranquility on the edge of the ocean.

Old house with spectacular views

Outstanding location in need of updating. Could do with new outdoor furniture, and a barbecue would be a bonus. The house and its furniture are old, and we did have problems with both the water regulation and supply. However, Tony was quick to come over and rectify the hot water supply issue. The reasonable rental price and spectacular views and position - quiet and private - more than make up for any minor drawbacks with the property.

At night, you will only hear the noise of the sea breaking at the bottom of the cliff and the chug chug of the passing boats and ships and occasionally the discos on passing cruise liners.
