The property was very nice and in a great location. The management firm folks were very nice and responsive. We did not get as much use of a warmer pool as we would have liked as they needed to do repair work on it most of the time we were there, hopefully that is all fuxed now.

Très belle maison avec une vue magnifique sur l'océan

Très grande maison, bien équipée. Les trois chambres ont vue mer. Bien située, très près de Funchal. Commerces à proximité. Beaucoup d'escaliers cependant, notamment pour accéder à la piscine.

Good location and great pool

The property is close to local restaurants and small grocery stores. We enjoyed the area and loved the pool in the late afternoons. There are a lot of steps, which did not bother us but should be kept in mind for those who don't enjoy stairs. We would come back to this property.

Wonderful Madeira Experience!

We are a family of five from New York, and this was our first time to Madeira. Friends who had been there before recommended we use VRBO. We selected this house based on its proximity to Funchal and its view of the ocean. We were very happy having selected this house! It was very clean and spacious for everyone to spread out and not be on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked with the necessary dishes, pots, pans, and utensils for us to some cooking, though we took full advantage of the nearby restaurants. There was a large supermarket just two minutes away by car which allowed us to purchase whatever we needed. After exploring Madeira each day (we rented a car), it was always great to come back to the house and relax poolside which was overlooking the ocean. We felt very comfortable and at home in the house. I should also note that right down the road from the house is a cable car that will take you down to the beach. The beach is rocky, but there is a nice restaurant there with lounge chairs. With respect to the management company handling the house, I greatly appreciated the strong communication they had with us before we even arrived in Madeira. They readily responded to email inquiries, provided clear directions on how to get to the house, and also gave us recommendations on places to go. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with this house and would highly recommend it to other travelers to Madeira. We look forward to returning again one day!
