The owner cancelled the booking 4 days before the trip. I received an email after making contact with the owner to arrange access and location stating that he had returned the monies and cancelled the booking. The team at Vrbo helped and we managed to get another late booking apartment booked that was a lot more money. That apartment was not in the same location and after booking was in a different location to the map locater shown. Vrbo did help and have returned the extra cost for the booking. It all added stress to a trip that would normally be an enjoyment. I am very disappointed with the owner of the apartment as he had every opportunity before to make contact. When i called again he said that he had not received the monies though he had returned them. I explained that I had paid over all the money as requested 4 weeks before. When I translated the other reviews I did find that this had happened to others before.
