Superb townhouse - spacious, south-facing to pool & gardens, with wifi/aircon.
* Spacious and airy townhouse, traditionally furnished in typical Spanish style.
* Air-conditioned and fully-equipped throughout to a high standard, including patio furniture and items for the beach.
* Additionally fitted with ceiling fans in the two bedrooms, and with electric fan-heaters and oil-filled radiators for the winter.
* Living accommodation is on two floors, having a large tiled terrace and shaded porch area to the front, with a small tiled terrace off the main bedroom.
* Internal stairs lead up to the private tiled roof terrace/solarium, which is ideal for sunbathing during the day, and for eating out at night.
* Each terrace has ample outdoor furniture, from bistro tables/chairs to sun loungers and parasols, and chairs etc for use by the pool and down at the beach.
Note: Our house has high-speed WIFI [providing internet and app-based TV channels], making it also suitable for any home-working if needed.

This two-bedroom/two bathroom south-facing house is complete with a fully-fitted kitchen, spacious lounge with dining area, and comfortable bedrooms. Baby facilities [cot, highchair etc.] are available on request.
Our English keyholder lives nearby and looks after the house; she will have prepared the house for your arrival, will meet/greet you on arrival with the keys, and is available to support you during your stay.
Note: on departure, you will need to settle directly with her at €60, plus €5 per person if 3 to 6 persons for her services and the final laundry.
Location and amenities nearby.
The house is ideally located for a family beach holiday slightly away from the centre of a main resort but with easy access to all amenities.
There are cafes/bars, restaurants, and a number of small shops within 5 mins. walking distance at Carabassi, and the nearest sand dunes and beaches are at the small resort of Las Arenales - just a 15 minute stroll through the El Clot Nature Reserve [or 5 mins by car].
The local tourist road-train [to the beach, and to the Commercial Centre], and buses to Santa Pola and Alicante itself, all depart from opposite the Carabassi cafes/bars etc.
The weekly street market [held on Thursdays] is just a 10-minute stroll from the house, nearby the recently-opened ALDI store and Chino-Bazaar superstore.
Banks, restaurants and bars, and choice of large supermarkets are at the nearby Gran Alacant Commerical Centre [15 minute walk/5 mins by car], and also at the nearby resort of Santa Pola [15 mins by car], with its promenade, fishing harbour and marina, and boat trips out to Tabarca Island.

Why they chose this property
Our house is on the established Monte y Mar development at Gran Alacant with south-facing views from the large rooftop sun terrace over the communal gardens and large pool, and with vistas inland toward the rugged mountains around Alicante.
We enjoy the ambiance of the area, which offers the best of a seaside holiday without being in the resort itself. It is only a few minutes walk to a large selection of bars, restaurants and small shops, with a road-train that takes you either to the large Commercial Centre or down to the coast at Las Arenales, with it's tree-lined promenade, expansive sand dunes and excellent beach.
It is also just 10 minutes by car, taxi or local bus either to the larger resort of Santa Pola with its restaurants, bars, marina and fishing fleet, or into the large resort of Alicante itself.
We enjoy the ambiance of the area, which offers the best of a seaside holiday without being in the resort itself. It is only a few minutes walk to a large selection of bars, restaurants and small shops, with a road-train that takes you either to the large Commercial Centre or down to the coast at Las Arenales, with it's tree-lined promenade, expansive sand dunes and excellent beach.

What makes this property unique
We very much enjoy the vibrancy of staying at this house. The area has an excellent climate, very hot in summer [we have air-con!!] and warm days from February through to late October.
We have Spanish neighbours all around who are most welcoming and friendly - it is very easy to become immersed into their Mediterranean lifestyle during your stay!!.
Our house is south-facing and overlooks the communal pool, with its landscaped gardens and shady trees. It is only a minute to the pool from the large front terrace/patio or expansive rooftop sun terrace, where it is pleasant to have drinks or to eat out later in the day.
Our house is therefore ideal for families with children, to enjoy the pool and gardens, for going down to the beach, or for venturing further to busier nearby resorts.
It is also just 10 to 15 minutes by car or local taxi to Alicante Airport - but without being on the flight path for the airport.
