Spend your Holidays on a noble estate. Steep yourself in a refined, lordly ambiente. Let it exert ist magical charms on you: the age-old vaulting, the original ceilings and walls, the massive furniture made of our own birch wood, massive Stone.


This Chalet features 4 Apartments with 8 sleeping rooms for 16-27 persons, 5 bathrooms, 4 kitchens, private sauna, ski storage room with ski boot dryer.

1 dining room with lounge to eat together as a group.

The entire garden area is a giant playground for young and old. Plenty of toys, a basket ball area, suspension bridges, 2 swings, a slide, monkey bars, a seesaw, a climbing tree, a big trampoline, a tree house, a sand pit and a lot of kettcars offer everything a kid's heart could possibly desire.

And for parents: Deck-chairs, tables and benches, a bower and 2 hammocks between some cosy trees are awaiting you in the garden – just relax und unwind. Don’t be afraid: Your children cannot go away from our surrounded garden area.

In the winter, three ski resorts, numerous cross-country skiing trails and a diverse programme are available for every taste:
- Saalbach – Hinterglemm with 270 km of Ski slopes is 10 minutes away (direct ski bus shuttle stop)
- Zell am See with 150 km of ski slopes (2 km away, direct ski bus shuttle stop)
- Glacier Kitzsteinhorn in Kaprun is 15 minutes away



Enjoy farm stays in our nearby farm, with horse riding, feeding animals,...
Our tip at 8.00 am: Fresh eggs every morning... Young guests can enjoy a tour of the hen stable together with the farmer's wife, and collect the freshly laid eggs for breakfast. What a wonderful experience!

Enjoy our fresh farm products just as milk, eggs, a variety of jams, honey, smoked ham and cheese.

very nice house in a almost perfect

very nice house well renovaited update with all the comfort off a new house. Katerin was very nice and helpfull. we enjoyed the very good prodacat of the farm the animals off the farm having a good life! It was very importent to us.

herzl. Gastgeber, tolle Lage, wunderschönes Haus

Wir hatten als Gruppe mit mehreren Familien das Moarhaus des Schloss Saalhofs gemietet. Das Haus ist absolut neu und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Sauna im Keller ist superschön. Unser Urlaub war perfekt. Wir konnten zentral in 3 Skigebiete starten. Die Kinder haben früh Eier gesammelt und frische Milch geholt. Die Erwachsenen durften eine Schnapsverkostung der hauseigenen Brennerei machen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Blick ins Schloss zeigte uns, dass auch dort alles mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet ist. Der Ort Maishofen ist gemütlich, hat zwei Skiausleihen (sehr wichtig, um Stress in den Skigebieten zu vermeiden), Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Apotheke. Loipeneingänge finden sich im Ort. Das beste war der kleine Skihang am Schloss Kammer mit kostenloser Nutzung des Schleppliftes. Hier haben unsere drei Jüngsten in 3 Tagen das Skifahren gelernt und dann ging es mit uns ab dem 4. Tag auf den Berg in Saalbach. Wir haben uns also rundherum wohl gefühlt und gleich für das nächste Jahr gebucht. Außerdem möchten wir gern auch mal im Sommer dorthin fahren, denn dann hat man wirklich Zeit für die wunderschöne Umgebung und den Bauernhof mit all den Aktivitäten.

Very, very, very beautiful.

We were with a group of 9 adults and 7 children in this beautiful Moarhaus for a skiïng trip (week). We loved it! Lots and lots of space privately and also joint space for games, drinks and talks, nice sauna, perfect storage for ski and boots. Clean house (it was brand new renovated), and very good service. Restaurants in the neighbourhood (walking distance). Grillnight was super cosy and good food in a special finnish kota. I would recommend this beatiful house and scenery to everyone and also friends and family. One minor detail; Bus to Vorstau Saalbach - although nearby - does not go a lot. Do plan well or take the car. Sum up; It looks great and it feels great to stay here. With all things to do in the neighbourhood and all animals on the farm probably also a very nice place for a summer holiday. Thanks again, Roland and family

I married my husband in 2004 and since then we started to renovate first the nearby Castle and from 2015-18 the Moarhaus Chalet next to the Castle.

I am so happy to share its unique atmosphere full of history with guests from all over the world and give them as well an insight in our farmers´ lifes within the beautiful alps in Austria, not far away from Salzburg (around 60 km).
