We had a great time!

Beautiful home but terrible beds

Upon first look we loved the home but after our first night we knew it wasn’t going to work. The beds are terrible, so uncomfortable we got the worst sleep. We stayed 8 days and were so exhausted from the lack of sleep. And there is no air conditioning so it is very hot. Can’t open windows because there is no bug screen and cockroaches/flies/centipedes come in- not to mention the dog next door barking at like 4am everyday like clockwork. We ended up sleeping with cold towels on our head it was so rough. The host was so sweet and so helpful I really think it could be a good stay with just better mattresses, air conditioning or even some fans, better wifi, and some bug screens for the windows so you can actually keep them open. The pool was fantastic, just what we needed after long days of hiking the beautiful trails that you’ll find all over the island. We made the best of the home. There are shops nearby where you can buy some supplies you’ll need, food, toilet paper, water etc. there is a washing machine and dishwasher which is a bonus but we had to buy our own soap for it. The host was available for any help needed and she replied quickly. She even helped us with our itinerary a bit. She also met us very late at night for an in person check in which was very sweet, and she gave us some of her homemade Madeira wine. We came from Canada so was our first time driving on roads and hills like the ones on the island, if you’re not comfortable driving up steep 45% hills, beware…

Sehr feine und moderne Ferienwohnung

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt mit "unendlich" Platz und netter Vermieterin. Lediglich den Backofen haben wir nicht nutzen können. Ansonsten entsprach alles der Beschreibung und unseren Vorstellungen

Die Lage der Wohnung ist etwas abgelegen. Der Pool wurde nicht nur von Hausbewohnern, sondern auch von Dritten genutzt. Toller Meerblick und gute Ausstattung.

Lovely apartment

The apartment was well equipped and there was plenty of space. The roads there (and everywhere in Madeira) were very steep, so be warned! The host was really great, reacting quickly to messages.

Agréable séjour

Bon séjour,bel appartement moderne et fonctionnel, décoré avec goût mais quelques inconvenients déjà évoqués par d'autres vacanciers: Chien du voisin qui aboie. Description imprécise de l'espace piscine qui n'est pas privé, il est partagé avec d'autres locataires et piscine un peu fraîche !😊 Location avec un Rdc et 2 étages ce qui implique le passage des locataires par la terrasse allouée à l'appartement du 1er étage donc intimité restreinte.

Location à éviter absolument

Environnement très bruyant (2 chiens du voisin qui aboient à toute heure de la nuit + 1 coq qui chante dés 3 heures du matin). Nuits particulièrement inconfortables. 1 des 3 chambre sans fenêtre non signalée dans l’annonce. Odeurs d’égouts pestilentielles dans 1 salle de bain Aspirateur HS Voisin du dessus obligés de passer sur notre terrasse pour entrer dans leur logement. Piscine non entretenue. Aucune intimité: maisons les unes sur les autres. Quartier populaire sans aucun cachet. Pas de commerce à proximité. Pas de chauffage mais surtout pas de couverture à disposition. Seul point positif: la personne en charge de l’accueil sympathique. Notre conseil unanime: à éviter absolument (vous serez avertis !) PS: à votre arrivée absolument rien pour vous dépanner (pas de sel, huile, …, pas de cachets lave vaisselle ou lave linge, rien sauf une mauvaise liqueur) alors que vous arrivez en avion sur une île !!!! Jamais vu ça !!!!

Urlaub mit der Fanilie

Wie waren zu viert für 12 Tage zu Gast. Das mittlere Apartment ist auf den Bildern zu sehen und bis auf ein kleines Feuchtigkeitsproblem in den Wänden waren wir sehr zufrieden. Der Pool (leider nicht beheizt) ist mit den anderen Feriengästen zu nutzen.

Einfach traumhaft

Wir waren zu 3. in der Unterkunft und dafür war es wirklich perfekt. (mit 6 Personen wäre es mir zu klein gewesen) Alles ist wie auf den Fotos beschrieben, die Vermierterin sehr freundlich und flexibel. Den Pool teilt man sich zwar (falls belegt) mit zwei weiteren Parteien aus dem Haus, aber es ist mehr als genug Platz und trotzdem alles gut von einander getrennt. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft. Wir hatten einen wirklich sehr schonen Urlaub und werden wieder kommen :)

Definição de privado: É aquilo que permanece ou que se executa à vista de poucos, entre familiares ou amigos, sem grandes formalidades. Definição de partilhado: Permitir que outros ocupem o tempo, ou espaço que seria seu. O Anuncio não e explicito quanto ao aluguer da casa pois afirma que casa e privada e piscina privada qual meu espanto quando descobri que a casa foi dividida e que tem pelo menos mais dois apartamentos e não casa, e que a piscina seria partilhada e não privada. Sugiro que o anuncio seja rectificado e que seja mais claro nestes pontos para que os futuros hospedes não se sintam enganados.

I'm großen und ganzen war es ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Schade das man vorher nicht weiß, dass es ein Mehrparteienhaus ist und man, im schlechten Fall den Pool mit 3 Familien nutzen muss. Wir hatten das Glück in den 5Tagen allein gewesen zu sein

Estupenda casa en una zona muy tranquila

Hemos disfrutado muchísimo tanto de la casa, que es perfecta para una familia de cuatro personas, como de la isla de Madeira. Hemos tenido la suerte de ser los únicos ocupantes de la casa, dado que la misma está dividida en tres viviendas. La zona es muy tranquila y está bien comunicada ( aún así necesitas coche propio). La atención de la casera fue excelente. El único inconveniente que hubo fue un problema con el agua de la piscina que desafortunadamente no se pudo arreglar.
