Lovely property in a quiet part of Emsworth. Just a 10 minute walk into the town centre. The property is very cosy with everything you could need for a pleasant stay. The only negatives were the lack of any outdoor space to relax. No garden or yard. The WiFi speed was very poor so if you’re looking to stream video content, you’ll be better off using mobile data. These are minor gripes which didn’t impact on our enjoyment. The beds were comfy enough and for four of us, it was perfectly fine. I would consider staying again but must admit it would be nice to have a bench outside.

Disappointed
A quaint cottage in a lovely area. However we had numerous issues which we reported to Henry Adams and we hope were sorted for the next visitor. Mainly for us the garden was 25 yards up the road, tiny, overgrown and had no garden furniture once you got there and unusable as a consequence, a dinning room chair broke on moving it which meant when family in the area visited us they had to bring their own chair as there were none provided with dressing tables, the toilet seat was broken and unhygienic, the fridge was faulty with a frozen and broken ice compartment. Overall cleanliness was poor. All the problems would not be that costly to fix and would greatly increase guests comfort and confidence.

Thank you so much for taking the time in leaving your review.
All the points you mentioned were rectified during your stay.
Flint Cottage garden is not for guests use, we do not advertise Flint Cottage with a garden.
We did also offer for the cleaner to come back and rectify any cleaning concerns that you had which you had turned down.
I hope this did not dampen your holiday and you got to explore the local area.

A pretty and comfortable little cottage on the edge of Emsworth
Flint Cottage is a little dog-friendly gem tucked away on the outskirts of Emsworth. Easily walkable into Emsworth centre with its great selection of shops and restaurants, and to Westbourne for a quieter vibe. Located on a popular walking route, it was perfect for us with our dog. Lots of paths to explore with the nature reserve, the quays and nearby Prinsted shore all easily reached.
Inside, the cottage is clean and well-appointed, with everything you need for 4 people to stay.
Kitchen facilities and equipment more than sufficient for cooking and the dishwasher was very useful. The utility room houses a small table top freezer with enough space for your holiday needs, as well as the washing machine and a decent vacuum cleaner that works well.
Bedrooms are light and the beds very comfy. The bathroom is small with a shower over the bath, but not a problem.
It would have been nice to have some outside space, if only for drying clothes we washed in the washing machine. There is a side access by the kutchen, but this us shared with another property set behind Flint cottage.
Local neighbours say there is an anattached garden a few doors down, but it isn't included in the rental unfortunately.
Overall we were delighted to find the cottage and very much enjoyed our stay. We hope to return in the future.

A lovely place to retreat to
We really enjoyed our stay in 2 Flint Cottages, as we were waiting to move into our new house. The location is excellent for walking access to Emsworth, via the very pretty nature reserve and we really appreciated that dogs are allowed.. There's plenty of parking and great to be within the local take-away delivery area. The cottage was lovely and warm when we arrived, very clean and had everything we needed.

A lovely location
We enjoyed it but the sofa/ chair was uncomfortable. The bedroom lamp didn’t work and there was no covid cube to scan as suggested.
