Spent a lovely, peaceful 2 weeks at The Linhay with just the birds, cows, and rustling leaves for company. The cottage is quirky but has everything you need whether eating out or cooking at the cottage.
Sonia is the perfect host, only a call or text away if you need something.
We have no hesitation in recommending this cottage.
Little Coxwell - The Linhay Cottage - English Culture Trip
"The Linhay" is a delightful and charming cottage in the countryside, surrounded by lush trees and bushes, which immediately made us feel at home. It was for us a very good place to make all-round excursions to, i.e., the City of Bath and Oxford, to visit the Neolithic and Bronze Age ceremonial sites (Stonehenge, Avebury Circle), the market town Devizes and the Kennet & Avon Canal, Stowe House, as well to soak in some theatre-air from RSC in Stratford-upon-Avon, etc. As all good things must come to an end, we had to return to mainland Europe. There wasn't enough time to visit everything written on our tour list, yet we would gladly continue our England Culture Tour with "The LIndhay" as our home-away-from-home.
