About this property
Prime Spot! Powder Days Ahead!
Don't miss this simple, well-located base for experiencing Park City’s cool mountain lifestyle all year-round. Trade the summer crowds for golden aspens — fall is one of the best-kept secrets in Park City, and this condo puts you right in the middle of it. Step outside to miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, with the resort's bike park still running through early fall. Come back to a clean, cozy space with a comfortable king bed, a well-stocked kitchen, and a queen sleeper sofa if you're traveling with a friend or the kids. After a day outside, unwind in the on-site hot tub as the sun sets behind the peaks. The free town bus stops right outside, so you can leave the car parked and explore Main Street's restaurants and shops with ease.
Need to get work done between adventures? The condo has reliable wifi and a comfortable spot to set up a laptop, so you can work from home on your terms.
Fall rates are some of the best of the year here, and it's a beautiful, quiet season to experience the mountain before it turns white. But the calendar moves fast in Park City — the same condo, same unbeatable location across from the resort, will be back in high demand the moment the lifts start spinning. If you're already dreaming about ski season, this is a great time to lock in your winter dates too, before the best weeks book up.
Check-in is simple: head straight to the unit, no office stop required. I live locally and I'm always happy to help with recommendations or local discounts — but I'll never hover. And when you're ready to explore Main Street, the free PC bus gets you there in under 5 minutes (download the app for live timings).

Fantastic stay at this well-appointed one-bedroom condo at the base of Park City, with free, easy transport to Deer Valley and Main Street right outside the door.Comfortable, thoughtfully stocked, and excellent communication throughout. The house manual had great local recommendations. We visit every year—this stay is at the top of our list. Would absolutely return!

Awe Melissa, I'm so glad. I look forward to hearing from you for your next trip!
All the best,
Susie. Mountainside Treasures.
Condo was perfect for our stay in PC. It was very clean, bed was comfortable, kitchen had all the amenities we needed with nice decor. Communications with host was easy and responsive. Short walk across the parking lot to the Firsttime lift made for easy on and off the slopes. The main base area was just a few steps more up the hill. Main St was about a 15 minute walk or you could take the free bus. The wood burning fireplace with an ample supply of dry, seasoned wood was a nice perk. And, it has the added benefit of helping you can get your daily steps in as it’s on the 2nd floor with no elevator. Would absolutely stay there again.

Fantastic almost ski in ski out
We enjoyed our stay. Sue was an exceptional hostess. She and the owner made sure we had the unit decorated for Christmas and even went through the trouble of getting a small tree for the living room. My daughter and her friend stayed in the living room and I took the king. Everyone was comfortable. The girls loved having the fireplace in their room and a view of the mountains our the sliding glass doors. When we needed a cookie sheet Sue brought one right away. We enjoyed the hot tub too.

Wonderful stay
The place is well renovated and has sufficient space for two people. It’s only 5-10mins walk away from the lift. Susie, the property manager, is very helpful and took good care of our stay.
Response from VrboOwner on 1 Feb 2023
Xiao, it was really lovely to meet you. I'd be delighted to host you again, so please stay in touch for future trips in the area,
Best,
Susie. Mountainside Treasures.
Host was very easy to communicate with and quick responses. This is a simply renovated unit in an older building. Unit was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped but no dining table, and has harsh overhead lighting in kitchen, inoperable under counter lights. Unit is well located. Walls and ceilings are thin so noisy neighbors. Our biggest disappointment was there are two full flights of outside wooden stairs, not properly described in the listing, which we found difficult to deal with in winter weather with skis and heavy bags. The washer dryer in the complex is two flights down. Space was tight with Skis boots and ski clothes and bags.

It’s really quite upsetting when guests do not take the time to read any of the details given to them, then blame the property.
Hopefully enough said.
For guests looking at this property,
Please check the listing for amenities and note the older building, photos, lower rates than modern equivalents and see the location. Please note the plethora of reviews that comment positively on these aspects.
Regarding Larry's worries,
Not sure what he means
Excellent location to Park City Mountain Base! Five minute walk to Crescent lift. Walk or Uber to downtown Park City for restaurants/shops/bars.

Powder Point condo was an excellent choice for our 4 day ski trip to Park City. The location, at the foot of the mountain, was incredible. The unit was clean and had all the necessary amenities and our VRBO mgr was extremely communicative. Would definitely return.

We had a wonderful time.
Everything was great. I was constantly surprised with finding everything anyone would possibly need and the perfect attention to details at the condo. It was immaculately clean Down to the drawers in the kitchen and the bedroom. The beds were very comfortable and the towels and linens of good quality. Our only negative was the stair climb with our luggage but we managed as we are healthy late seventy year old individuals.
Response from VrboOwner on 24 Mar 2025
Theodore, I'm so glad the condo worked and you appreciated it. Yes, we are on the second floor and I do imagine with heavy bags that is a lot. I'm sorry. I'll make sure it is absolutely clear in the listing.
All the best and please do stay in touch for the future (I do have other places that have elevator as an amenity or fewer stairs!)
We had a wonderful stay here (Sunday - Thursday) for four of us, skiing at Park City and and enjoying the town. The property is in a fabulous location, very easy to walk to and from the ski lifts (First Time and Eagle lifts are a straight shot from the condo and Crescent and PayDay lifts are just a few minutes beyond that.). We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen and easy garage parking below. The beds and bedding were SUPER comfortable. One small tip - bring slippers if you are staying in the lower level bedrooms in the winter as the floors get very chilly down there! Communication was fantastic from start to finish. All in all, a wonderful stay!

Hi Allison, thanks for the great ideas. The location is for sure outstanding, and yes, with the tiled floor downstairs, I would for sure bring my slippers! (I always take them on ski vacations anyways!)

A Truly Superb One-Month Stay!
This was not my first time visiting Park City but was indeed my longest stay there. I enjoyed it so much!
From before arriving until the end of my stay, my Mountainside Treasures contact, Susie, was absolutely wonderful & helpful - every step of the way.
The location is excellent, just a few blocks to a Starbucks and Fresh Market to the north and a few more blocks south to the main downtown area. Every morning I woke up to the beautiful sight of one of the local mountains and could readily hike up there too.
Both Park City and my suite were super nice places for my extended stay!

Perfect stay
My 12 year old daughter and I had an incredible stay/ski cation in Park City, 2/17/23-2/22/23. The apartment we rented was the most ideal - incredible location, literally across the street from the base of the mountain with quick, easy access to five separate ski lifts, and the free city bus line which runs frequently and gets you to Main Street for shopping, food, etc. The apartment itself was incredibly clean, well stocked (towels, blankets, kitchen utensils), comfy bed, quiet and cozy. Literally everything you need for a great vacation!
Susie is a terrific resource and a very responsive and helpful host. Can’t see enough positive things about this rental and Susie. Book it, you won’t be sorry!
Response from VrboOwner on 11 July 2023
Stephanie, thanks for the kind words. I am so glad that you both enjoyed the condo and I'm happy to hear all the work we do is paying off!
Please don't hesitate to stay in touch for future trips, we would be delighted to host you again. Best, Susie. Mountainside Treasures.
This condo is centrally located between Park City Mountain Resort and Park Ave (within 1/2 mile or less to grocery shopping). The proximity to the lifts make you feel like you're on the resort property. The decor is updated and very comfortable. The patio was stocked with plenty of firewood. Susie was a great host and provided lots of useful tips. The only con was the noise coming from the unit above. We were unfortunate to have what appeared to be a toddler running constantly above us. Despite that, I would still recommend this unit. It was a great price for the location and size.

Response from VrboOwner on 31 Dec 2021
Hi Felicia,
thanks so much for your feedback. I'm sorry the people above had a heavy footed toddler. Hopefully they at least went to bed at a decent time. I'm glad you liked the location and hope you made good use of the fire!
All the best for 2022 and thanks again for the honest feedback,
Best,

Cozy and convenient condo near slopes
This was a perfect condo for our family. We have two younger kids who slept in the pullout in the living room. It was actually very comfortable according to my kids and my husband and I fell asleep in it ourselves after some long days skiing. Even though we had a car we were walking distance to grocery stores and the slopes. Though I will admit that we put on our gear and drove right up to the First Time lift 😊. Main Street is close and filled with great shopping and restaurants. The condo has a binder filled with info about several restaurants that she recommends. We loved the Wasatch Brew. Great burgers, quick service (a must with kids). Overall we had a great time here. I’ve stayed at many VRBO properties, but this is a rare one that I would definitely stay at again! Perfect!

About the host
Hosted by Susie Townshend
I'm Susie Townshend, and I started Mountainside Treasures in 2013. It's a small property management company, and I like it that way — being small means I can stay genuinely attentive to both my guests and my property owners.
I'm British by birth, and moved to the US East Coast in 2005. For years I skied with my four kids in Jay Peak, Vermont, until a few trips to Utah won us over — we made the move to Park City in 2012 and never looked back. Summer or winter, this place has our hearts, and Utah is a paradise for anyone who loves the outdoors.
I'm also a ski instructor here in Park City, so if you'd like a hand getting started on the slopes, I may be able to help you navigate the various options. And whether it's a favorite trail, the best hike, or a hidden-gem restaurant, I'm always glad to share recommendations — we're still discovering new things ourselves, and we'd love to hear your stories too.
Why they chose this property
With a family of 4 children, I have learned the hard way that Ski-on Ski-off makes for the best experience. Whether traveling with family or with friends, the advantage of being beside the lifts is priceless. This property is so convenient; to the skiing, the stores and all the amazing delights of Park City Main Street. Have a treat, make this an easy vacation!
What makes this property unique
-Proximity to everything - ski mountain, bus stop, convenience stores, park, golf course, Main Street. -Portable A/C for summer comfort. -Quiet condo overlooking slopes. Newly fitted double glazing windows and patio door. -Modern kitchen and bathroom -Cozy balcony overlooking the mountain -Real log fire with tall stack of wood -Laundry facilities on site -Free parking with some covered parking on first come first served basis. (great if you have an early flight and it snows a ton overnight!)
