Likoni is a stunning development (new in 2018) of eight luxury apartments set just across the road from Southbourne cliff tops and the sandy beaches. This ground floor apartment has been designed with a contemporary exterior and interior and benefits from having two separate patio areas. This property makes for a very modern, colourful, coastal retreat which should please visitors looking for a luxurious apartment opposite the beach.

THE APARTMENT:
BEDROOMS - Double Bedroom (with ensuite shower and toilet) - Twin Bedroom (can be zipped together into 6ft Super King Bed) - this room has the benefit of a door leading to the patio and lawn area.

The lounge/diner, which is open plan, enjoys SEA VIEWS and offers plenty of space, has a FLATSCREEN SMART TV - FREEVIEW - DVD - FREE WIFI (subject to availability from Internet Service Provider). From the lounge/diner you will find sliding doors leading to the patio area with SEA VIEWS where you can enjoy alfresco dining.

The high specification kitchen area includes an INDUCTION HOB - ELECTRIC OVEN - FRIDGE/FREEZER - DISHWASHER - WASHER/DRYER - MICROWAVE - LAVAZZA COFFEE MACHINE. You can also enjoy SEA VIEWS from the kitchen window.

The modern bathroom has a bath, shower facility and toilet. This accommodation comes with an off road parking space (the space for Flat 1 is the second from the left as you look towards the building).

NOTES - Linen & towels included for holiday lets are provided by Resort 2 Us. Please note the maximum occupancy (4 persons) must be strictly adhered to, any additional guests will be required to leave the property immediately. EPC GRADE - B. No pets. Children 12 yrs+ only. Sat to Sat bookings only in Jun/Jul and all school holidays (no short breaks). GAS/ELECTRIC - INCLUDED.

THE LOCAL AREA:
It is a very short walk from the apartment to the 'Zig -Zag' path down to Southbourne's sandy beaches. There are nearby shops, cafes and restaurants at Southbourne Crossroads which includes the well known restaurant Roots which is a contemporary fine dining restaurant. For activity in the local area Seafield Gardens, which has held the prestigious Green Flag Award since 2001, offers bowls, tennis and features a water tower. One tourist feature of Southbourne-On-Sea is the Fisherman's Walk Cliff Railway, a funicular railway between the clifftop coastal road and the promenade and beach. The easternmost part of the area is called Hengistbury Head. The land train runs across Hengistbury Head from the bus terminus to the beach. There is a golf course here and kite flying is a very popular activity. A long, but pleasant, walk along the promenade leads you to Boscombe or Bournemouth piers for all amenities and a variety of family entertainment and tourist attractions. A short car drive offers the historic town of Christchurch or the vast New Forest. Alternatively a short drive will take you to Bournemouth town centre for more of the hustle and bustle this tourist town has to offer. The Pier approach with it's leisure facilities and entertainment is a must to visit whilst staying in this seaside holiday town.

SOUTHBOURNE / TUCKTON / WICK / HENGISTBURY HEAD - An ideal destination for families with its own shopping area and beautiful walks over nearby Hengistbury Head. Located just a short drive or bus ride away from the centre of both Bournemouth and Christchurch.
CHRISTCHURCH / MUDEFORD / HIGHCLIFFE - Christchurch is a quaint destination, steeped in history. With beautiful riverside walks along the Stour it is ideal for the quieter day out, while still having the High Street for shopping. Mudeford and Highcliffe offer beautiful sandy stretches of beach in quiet surroundings, with a short ferry ride from Mudeford to Hengistbury Head.
BARTON-ON-SEA / MILFORD-ON-SEA - These are great touring bases, located just along the coast from Christchurch. With easy access to the New Forest and sandy beaches at Highcliffe, both areas also have their own scenic seafronts and atmospheric village centres.

The property was in a good location. My issues were little things which would have improved my overall stay. Like having replacement garbage bags, dishwashing liquid and hand wash in the bathrooms.

Our week in Southbourne
The property was clean and tidy and just of the front in Southbourne the hedge while giving some previsee did spoil the view. To use the table we had to move a heavy rug also as it is only let to adults we thought there should have been four chairs also there was no hand towel in the kitchen. The onsuit shower room had a strong musty smell I removed the sink plug which was in a filthy state and cleaned it but the smell stayed perhaps the waste also needed cleaning. We were surprised that paying a premium price that we had to strip the beds. We also thought that a ten o'clock exit was rather early.

Lovely clean, modern apartment with all facilities needed. Great location, really easily accessible by car with space but also plenty buses to local areas. We had a fabulous relaxing holiday, couldn’t recommend it enough.
