A beautiful, spacious two double bedroom seaside apartment situated within a Victorian property in the heart of Alum Chine, Bournemouth. Our unique boutique property combines beautiful period features with a contemporary mid-century modern aesthetic.
Situated on a quiet residential street, a short walk down a wooded path takes you to the award winning blue flag beaches of Alum Chine and Branksome Dene.
This property can sleep up to 5 people (4 adults) and has off road parking.
The space
The apartment is furnished to a very high standard with a beautiful mid-century modern feel. The rooms have high ceilings and large windows making this apartment spacious and airy whilst retaining an intimate cosy feel.
A generous living space with a large sofa and coffee table, you will have access to a smart TV, Wifi, a DVD player and CD player. There is also an armchair with ‘Anglepoise style’ floor lamp so you can relax and enjoy a good book. There is also a range of family games and books.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with high specification appliances and all the kitchen items, crockery etc.
The central island unit overlooking the lounge area makes for a lovely social living and dining space.
The dining area has an extendable dining table and six chairs positioned in the large bay window area making it the perfect space to enjoy all your meals, but especially a lazy breakfast in the morning sunshine.
Both bedrooms are beautifully furnished with a modern aesthetic and there is plenty of hanging space and drawers in both bedrooms for your holiday wardrobe. There is a standard size double bed in each room, please note the 5th bed is a single fold up and not really suitable for an adult.
We have a modern wet room (shower only) in the apartment for your convenience.
Guest access
You will have your own private entrance and exclusive use of the apartment for the duration of your stay. We live in the property above so are available between 8am and 11pm for any questions you may have.
You have use of one off road parking space (a god send in the busy summer months and school holidays). A further parking space can sometimes be made available on request for a small additional charge.
Other things to note
The wooded paths to the beach both have steep steps. If this is an issue you can walk down the local roads were there are no steps. If walking is difficult for you both beaches have large car parks and drop off areas and wheelchair access.
There are 3 properties within the building so we cannot allow parties or excessive noise of any kind. Please be respectful of other residents especially between 11pm & 8am.
