Self-contained, fully-equipped cottage with open fire and swimming pool, located in the hills above Mt View. All the wonderful facilities the Hunter Valley has to offer are at your fingertips including boutique wineries.

Dairy Farm Cottage is your home away from home. Isolated enough for your privacy. Sheets and bath towels are included. We have essential kitchen supplies like oil, salt and pepper, flours, vinegar, baking paper, cling wrap etc. We supply some tea, coffee pods for the coffee maker and wood for the fire in winter. We also have board games, books and jigsaws for your entertainment. All you need to do is bring fresh food and drinks and you dont need to leave the house. Major supermarkets are only 10 minutes away in Cessnock.

You have the entire house and pool to yourselves and we have 3 acres you can enjoy. You can see distant neighbours but you cant hear them! Please note the pool is a walk up the hill from the house.

Dairy Farm Cottage is in a rural setting, so wildlife, including birds, reptiles, insects and sometimes mammals are part of the experience. We have had visiting echidnas, wombats, kangaroos, frogs, and even a wandering goat! Wifi has now been installed. Mobile phone reception is limited.

The cottage is over 100 years old and has loads of character. While we have all the modern conveniences and the rooms are always cleaned for your visit, you will not get the feel of a brand new place. It's also situated on a dirt road, so its impossible to keep the outside spotless.
