Blue Cliffs Hideaway Spa Villa

Experience the peacefulness of the birds, the restful sound of the creek, the very private view of the expansive forest or just warm your toes by the wood fire in winter before dreaming away in a Balinese style canopy bed.

Hideaway Spa Villa is beautifully decorated with Balinese artefacts along with a Bali influenced outdoor exhilarating shower. It has a front verandah and deck as well as an expansive deck at the back that looks down to the creek valley and across to the state forest. It includes a double spa bath with fantastic views, wood fire, delightful kitchen (also with great views including the grove of Colorado aspen tress surrounding the villa), a DayBed for cruising and a very relaxing lounge area where you can just sit back or view the 42” digital TV (with 15 stations) with DVD player and CD/Ipod player with a small selection of classic DVDs and CDs.

You are on a property of 20 acres with each self contained villa far enough away from each other for absolute privacy and peace. You will feel as if you have arrived at your own property; the property is designed for couples to get away and not have to interact with anyone else - hence we advertise the new luxuries - Serenity, Space, Seclusion, Silence.

Lovely little hideaway. The cottage was simple but very comfortable (as described). The location is private and in a very nice bush setting. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great place to unwind and relax.

The luxury of time and space

The Hideaway Villa / Cottage at Blue Cliffs Retreat provided the perfect venue for our two week summer getaway. Located at the far end of the property, Hideaway is surrounded by trees and is private and quiet. The only sounds we heard while there were the bubbling creek, the wind in the trees and the sound of thunder during a mid-summer thunder storm. The images of Hideaway on line were taken some time ago (I could tell because the trees are now much taller than in the pics!), so do not expect Hideaway to look the same, but the essentials remain: a gorgeous spa bath (with hand-held shower attachment), an out-door shower, a very serviceable kitchen (we ate at home most evenings - steak and salad, casserole etc), a relaxing day bed, comfortable bed with wrap-around mosquito protection, plenty of under-tree benches, and the west-facing balcony with views of the Wombat State Forest. Our host Paul was promptly responsive on the only occasion we needed something, and a cleaner refreshed the house, linen and towels mid-way through our stay. Hideaway is otherwise a self-service venue and as such we brought all the provisions we needed. There is a super-size smart tv so we didn't go without our streaming services! Otherwise we did little but read, meditate, exercise, explore the property, watch the locals (birds, echidna, kangaroos), and occasionally head into "town". After two years of in-out lockdown and crazy contagion, we were craving the luxury of time and space, and that's exactly what we got at Hideaway.

Beautiful tucked away villa. Great place to get away and relax with a loved one!

Great experience with no hiccups. Just be aware of having the bedside tables so close to the bed as I hit my head through the night and ended up with a black eye. Other than that, a great trip and would definitely recommend!

We absolutely adored this place, didn't see another person our whole stay. We loved the sounds of nature, watching the shooting stars from the balcony at night was truly spectacular! Only thing I can fault is the bed was uncomfortable and needs upgrading, I ended up with a sore back. I'd be back in a heartbeat if I knew the bed was new. The property itself is stunning thank you

Right from the first contact, the owners were helpful, friendly & obliging. The villa was very comfortable, beautifully decorated and privately tucked away, overlooking the surrounding bushland & creek. The huge glass walls in the bathroom were great, it was lovely to lie in a hot bath watching the rabbits grazing on the grass outside.
