A secluded romantic cottage situated b/w Daylesford & Hepburn Springs. Its very inviting for your private getaway & nestled in the Doctors Gully bush views...
Warm in winter with a Ned Kelly wood fire & cool in the summer with the split air conditioning.
Astley Cottage is walking distance into Vincent Street (1.6kms) & all the restaurants/cafes. A beautiful cute 1 bedroom cottage with all the extras which is indeed a great choice for a week or a few days away. Includes a King bed (or 2 singles)all linen, plasma 49" TV + free selection of dvds, an Nespresso coffee maker & a WeberQ BBQ. All bookings includes 10am checkout. See our package deals to include breakfast baskets, a bottle of wine & wood for the fire all set up before your arrival..

Choices are endless, curl up on the couch with a good book, relax no need to hurry to leave here. The afternoon sun streams into the cottage & balcony. Sit out & enjoy the country bush view watch the magnificent sunset & elevated bush views. Its so relaxing with the buddha water feature, tranquil gardens & hearing our local birds doing their thing.

If its a special occasion just let us know & we can arrange/recommend your treatments/celebratory extras for you.

Spa Cottage 1 bedroom & Privacy guaranteed

King size bed with designer linen (electric blanket). Also can do 2 singles $30 extra. Cottage can sleep 2 adults & 1 child.
All windows overlooks the gully's wonderful elevated bush views. At Astley you have your own private spa to relax the mind & body with complimentary Daylesford Aromatherapy products.

Your Dogs are very welcome to join you on your trip to Astley as we are very pet friendly. Astley has secured balcony for your peace of mind / safety of your loved ones.

Lovely wood fire in living area

A cosy area to leisurely make nespresso coffee & enjoy your breakfast & just take your time - sit back & relax. Continental/ Full breakfast provisions can be supplied also upon request.. Astley's basic kitchen nook includes a microwave, fridge, electric frying pan/sandwich toaster + toaster. There is a outdoor BBQ WeberQ. All you need for a few days away. We encourage you to : Experience the local produce at our many restaurants/cafes nearby listed in the 'Lost' booklet.
So warm in winter & cool in summer - This is the best value in town.
Maybe its a special celebration - just let us know if you need anything pre-arranged
eg. dinner booking, massages or any advice to ensure your getaway is everything you wished for. Daylesford has something on offer for every season.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Astley Cottage with our dogs. Kevin and Ellen were exceptional hosts, and we were delighted to find a delicious sweet treat waiting for us in the fridge on arrival.The cottage has fantastic amenities and is incredibly comfortable from the cosy bed to the perfect lounger for relaxing. One of our favourite moments was sitting on the veranda, taking in the gorgeous view of the gully, so peaceful and calming.The location is ideal too: close to both Hepburn Springs and the Daylesford township, with a walking path that makes it easy to stroll to either. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would happily return.

Astley Cottage was a calm retreat for two. What a wonderful outlook over the Daylesford bushland. The Cottage is well appointed with King size bed and delightful sheets and a spa and fire place to create the perfect couples retreat.

Incredible stay

I stayed at Astley Cottage with my partner for the weekend. The cottage was perfect, with gorgeous decor, an amazing view and everything we needed. Ellie and Kevin were lovely hosts and made sure our stay was perfect. We’ll definitely be rebooking if/when we visit the area again.

Great location & hosts, and to bring our dogs was important for us and great property for this, very well thought after what people need, basics salt pepper bbq all great. Also the Spa is a bonus. Recommended to stay - PS go check out the Daylesford Cidery (especially week days) great place take the dogs relax wine beer cider.

The cottage was very well maintained with good amenities. The heater in the room could be a bit noisy at times, but it certainly kept me warm. The spa and fireplace were absolutely wonderful. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

We are Ellie & Kevin & have been living & running Astley Cottage here in the spa country for 16 years. Previously living in Essendon Melbourne. I work as a Community Support Worker for the Hepburn Shire & Kevin is a retired Chef.
We enjoy the slower pace of the country life. We have our2 sons both grown up now & 2 granddaughters living in Queensland. We have our little treasure cavie LILY who is 12years old. We enjoy travelling , bush track walking, golf & dining out

Why they chose this property

Its so homely with all the comforts. Old fashioned as it sounds Kevin bakes muffins & treats to welcome our guests. We are very reasonably priced & really love what we do.
Its so warm in winter & cool in summer.

Its secluded within cottage gardens however right within walking distance to town.
We have walking tracks right at the door as its situated in Doctors Gully. Great selection of teas & a Nespresso coffee maker both satisfying our caffeine fix in the comfort of your own
