The Hut Byron Bay HInterland

Come and stay in your own private accommodation overlooking 68 acres with pockets of rainforest, a creek and a small waterfall. Stroll through the coffee rows or bushwalk to the creek. You may see visiting koalas, wallabies, echidna and platypus as well as an abundant bird life.

Enjoy a cup of our own plantation coffee.

We are only 11 mins by car from the historic village of Bangalow with its exclusive shops and restaurants and 15 mins from the magnificent beaches of Byron Bay. This position is a welcome retreat for travellers as we are an easy 5 mins drive from the Pacific Highway.

Your hosts are happy to share their local knowledge and their sons will point you in the direction of some of the best surfing beaches in the world.

Hinterland Oasis

The property was very secluded feeling and overlooked the west hills so we could watch the sunset. It was a perfect location for a relaxing little weekend, 10/10 recommend!

We had a wonderful one night stay celebrating our anniversary. The property was perfect for what we wanted. We loved all the extra little touches. Definitely above and beyond what we expected. Will be coming back again for sure as would love more time to explore the land.

Country charm with a gracious hostess

Located in a gorgeous part of the northern rivers hinterland, The Hut overlooks a working coffee plantation, lush rolling green hills, and peace and quiet is the order of the day. The studio was supplied with beautiful fresh flowers, local organic sourdough bread for breakfast toast, butter, jam, marmalade, milk, ground coffee from the plantation, yoghurt, blueberries... so many thoughtful touches. There is WiFi, streaming services and good Optus reception. You can laze around the sparkling clean pool, take a short drive to your choice of beaches, or stroll through the bush to the property's waterhole. Byron Bay is close by should you want for a dizzying array of restaurants. Definitely a perfect place to get away from the rat race for a while! As Arnie said... "I'll be back".

Lovely Byron Stay

This was a lovely home in the most beautiful location. We enjoyed being in the hills of Byron, whilst still being close to town. The place was cute and cosy, and was exactly what we were looking for.

Idyllic Hideaway

Thankyou Ouida for being the perfect host, the breakfast goodies & tho you lived close by you respected our privacy. The cottage & views upon arrival set the scene for our restful get away. The cottage was very close to local tourist attractions & beautiful Bangalow.

Wow wish we were there longer

My wife and I are making our way up the coast from Canberra to Cairns and booking stops along the way. This place was absolutely gorgeous (both the room and the surroundings.) The host provided some fresh locally baked bread for the morning as well as their own produced coffee grounds as well as some jams, milk chocolate, blueberries and more. What a find!

Beautiful area surrounded by nature. Fantastic treats in the fridge. A few insects inside as expected but all add to the charm. Loved our stay here!

A beautiful location 20 minutes away from Byron. It was quite well kept, just what we needed to escape the rat race of Sydney. Qudia was a lovely host so welcoming and happy to make your stay comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.

Night getaway

My hubby and I stayed 1 night at this beautiful little retreat. I would recommend making more time to enjoy the serenity as we didn't get much time unfortunately as I was caught up at the Crystal Cave. My recommendation would be to stay 2 nights if you can to take it all in. The host Ouida was also very accomodating and made us feel just at home. In summer time that pool would be amazing to soak in all the beautiful nature. The room itself is very private, even though the owner is next door you won't even realise as it's hidden off with lush greenery. Worth the stay 😇
