Located above Highlands Country Club on Hudson Road, this cherished family cottage exudes old highlands charm. Lovely grounds and old stone work frames this original 1935 cottage which is adorned with wormy chestnut, chunky stone and school house windows.

3 bedrooms and two bathrooms on the main floor and a master bedroom and bathroom upstairs provides a private retreat for large families or friends traveling together. You'll feel like you've stepped back in time upon entering the charming kitchen with it's black & white harlequin floors and farmhouse cabinets. The trend continues in the bedrooms, each with their own unique decor and vintage style. The huge screened porch is perfect for relaxing or dining al fresco.

*Owners Note* We enjoy the beautiful mountain views and fabulous sunsets from the big screened-in porch. It is a very private and quiet retreat with mature trees and shrubs surrounding the house. It is easily accessible with plenty of parking and only a 5-7 minute drive to town. The interior wormy chestnut paneled walls and three stone fireplaces are reminiscent of another era. We believe you will fall in love with Laurelwood too.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of a cancellation by tenant, a reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund. If more than 45 days notice is given, tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by tenant, less an administrative fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation

Thanksgiving Shangrila!

I have been to Highlands many times through the years, staying in different places. This property was absolutely amazing. The decor was fantastic. It was totally stocked in the kitchen. The screened in porch was divine! Communication back-and-forth from the renter Association to us was so helpful. We would really like to visit again in the very near future! The decor was even more beautiful in person than it was in the photographs!

Loved This Cabin!

Perfect for our family. Kids 2 and 4 had the best time. The house is so nicely decorated but nothing too precious. Loved all the fireplaces. Would definitely come back!

Highlands Birthday Celebration

We enjoyed our stay at Laurelwood so much. 10 minutes from town, it’s a beautiful home. Even though we were so close to downtown, it seemed miles away. The front porch was our favorite spot, and spent most of our time there. Would definitely stay again!
